Description

An uncensored Hollywood tell-all filled with explicit tales of love, sex, drugs, and revenge from the video vixen made famous by Warrant’s glam metal rock anthem “Cherry Pie.”

Who could forget the sexy “Cherry Pie” girl from hair metal band Warrant’s infamous MTV music video? Bobbie Brown became a bona fide video vixen for her playful role as the object of lead singer Jani Lane’s desires. But the wide-eyed Louisiana beauty queen’s own dreams of making it big in Los Angeles were soon derailed by the wild 1990s Hollywood party scene and her rock-and-roll lifestyle. After her tumultuous marriage to Jani Lane imploded, and her engagement to fast-living Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee ended in a drug haze—followed by his marriage to Pamela Anderson—Bobbie decided it was time Hollywood’s hottest bachelors got a taste of their own medicine. Step one: get high. Step two: get even.

In this no-holds-barred rock memoir, Bobbie explicitly recounts her life among some of the most famous men in Hollywood and the music industry: Leonardo DiCaprio, Kevin Costner, Mark McGrath, Dave Navarro, Sebastian Bach, Ashley Hamilton, Rob Pilatus of Milli Vanilli, Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, Orgy’s Jay Gordon, and many more. No man was off limits as the fun-loving bombshell spiraled into excess, scandal, and addiction.

Bobbie survived the chaos—barely—and her riveting, cautionary comeback tale is packed with shocking Hollywood gossip and the wildest stories of sex, drugs, and rock and roll ever told. Dirty Rocker Boys is the ultimate celebrity memoir of the hair metal era, a backstage pass into the highs and lows of fame, addiction, and recovery.

  • Great Book

It’s a great book to read and to learn a little dirt on people but to also understand that even rock n roll isn’t that glamorous behind the scenes. It’s just people trying to live their lives and be real even in the surreal life of LA. I remember Bobbie and thought she was so cool.. there is a genuine soul there and I loved reading this book about her life.

If you are looking for a book that is honest, detailed and gritty about a girl who dated many famous rock stars, this is the book for you. Bobbie Brown holds nothing back, she completely puts herself out there for the world to read. This is a refreshing tell all book, refreshing in that she portrays not only the good times in her life but also the bad and while she tells her to opinions of the people that have come into her life she also gives great detail, true judgment and self awareness of her own ups and downs.

Once you start reading this, you can't stop. This made me laugh, cry, get angry, and finally be grateful. Glad in the end, at least, things work out.

It brought back so many memories. I was a young girl in Hollywood in the 90's. I knew a lot of the dirty rocker boys back in the day. Thank God, that is not my world and I got out of it. If a guy even says he plays an instrument, I cringe. Been there! Did that! Got the wet t-shirt. LOL

Been a fan in love since Cherry Pie and the videos that followed. Glad to see she ended up ok. A good look at the scene I love from a woman's point of view. Never thought there was such a competition with Pam. But truth be told she blows Pam away.....a more natural beauty.....and I'm available!

Ms. Brown does well to describe the 80s hair band exit stage left to 90s alternative. (I've heard those artists don't like the word 'grunge'). An easy read that I did not put down. Glad that she's getting a last laugh and a few digs where they seem to be deserved- albeit her side of the story.

This is a great book. There is nothing off limits that Bobbie wont discuss! The fast life of Hollywood combined with pure hotness of a young naive model...she sure knew how to live it up.

I enjoyed reading about rock stars that I used to lust over. I was a teen during the grunge scene so I missed the hair bands. But it was more interesting to hear how Bobbie Brown thought about her relationships with the wild men in her life. I can't relate to how she thinks but it makes sense as to how women stay in bad relationships. I hope she's doing better now. She is still gorgeous!

Not a bad read; it keeps your interest. I think it's good to read books like this because they remind you how blessed you are not to have lived this life--no matter how you wanted to at the time.
