He was such a jerk in general, and horrible to her. There is no way she would have fallen for him. He behaves like an abuser.

It wasn’t a good story for me but someone else might love it. The writing is okay but not clever enough. I like historical romance stories that have humor and heart, this book did not deliver either. Sorry.

A very interesting book! I enjoyed reading about Jason and Olivia and their trials. You have humor and definitely romance but you add in resistance and you have a person trying to rectify a mistake. Read and enjoy!

This book had great potential, but I was very disappointed in it. The writer seemed to be in a hurry, scenes have only minimal description, phrases are used and reused and reused; the book could have used several more good beta reads. I loved the idea the author had, but was terribly disappointed in the lack of details, and the way many of the scenes repeated themselves. Also the characters are poorly developed and the whole book is about how the guy lusts after the girl he doesn't remember is his wife. When he realizes who she is he tries to prove to her that he loves her, but it's still all about his own satisfaction and none about her. Love is about the other person and marriages based on lust never last. The author tried to make the male character deepen over the course of the book but failed rather miserably. Overall I was disappointed and won't be buying another book from this author.
