Oh, I read it for a chance to read it again I read it when I was a teenager and now I am 76 years old. I forgot most of it however, my mothers family was PUNCHEON so I always thought that was really funny because it is the Americanized name from Pynchon I like the happy ending Liz, 32905

Interesting plot, but Faulkner’s descriptions of everything and anything allows you to fully picture the scenes. If only the “old English” wasn’t so tedious to slug through.
