5By jennijamesI had no idea what this book was about. I saw it in the movie Greater about an overweight wanna be football player, who always had it at his side. Written in the 1600's, the first words were so enlightening and this continues. Every time I opened it, it seemed to fit exactly what was gong on in my life. I think you could read it over and over again and gain something useful for managing your life. I loved it!!!Pilgrims Progress
5By Spins in the windTruly great book every Christian should read. I might recommend it in the modern English version though. Loved the truths found here and how many of them landed on me with great weight. We often make light of the things that keep us from the Lord. This book just reminded me of the great need to stay true and not be pulled by the things of this world.Completely relevant today!
5By 2014pilgrimThis book is required reading for my child's school. Therefore, I picked it up to see what it was all about. It is very well written, and compelling. This translation makes the language come alive, and it does not read like a book that was written in the late 1600s. The path to salvation that this book lays out is as relevant today as it was back then. This is a truly enjoyable and helpful book.
