N Triggers- Language, Violence, Explicit Erotic Content, Cliffhanger, Christmas Dinner With The In-Laws Tropes- Marriage of Convenience, Forced Marriage, Mafia Princess (subverted), Do-Si-Do with the Mafioso, Secrets and Lies, Damaged Hero and Heroine, Town Mouse and the Country Mouse, Our Families Put The Fun In Dysfunctional, Fish Out of Water What I liked- Matteo is intense. I like how he and Marie are healing each other and forming a team. What I didn’t- Matteo is intense. I don’t love his communication issues. Verdict- kept me interested in the overall story.
