Description
The Living Universe – A New Theory of Our Origins explains three different origins: The origin of consciousness, the origin of life and the origin of the universe itself from the perspective of a scientific Theory of Everything. The book argues that the true origins of human life has been hidden by the materialist philosophy that dominates current science and that in order to provide answers to the existential questions that human beings may have, we must be able to grasp what consciousness is and take another approach than the current reductionist approach. Carl Johan Calleman accomplishes this by basing himself on a macrocosmic quantum theory that he has developed, which in contrast to the microcosmic quantum theory explains evolution on a larger scale. The Theory of Everything, which truly explains everything, is based on the unification of these two realms of quantum theory, micro-cosmos and macro-cosmos, which describe the processes according to which the universe as a whole evolves.
Through this unification into a Theory of Everything, which applies to all things that evolve a large number of things that for a long time has haunted science find their solutions. Examples of such are the speed-up of time, the nature of consciousness, what really drives the evolution of life and creates the emergence of new species, anomalies in the microwave background radiation as well as the fine-tuning problem.
Maybe the most dramatic novelty is an explanation of what happened before the Big Bang and how the evolution of consciousness has driven the evolution of the universe since. The entire universe is then found to be one living entity, in which all the different levels are entangled through macro-cosmic entanglement in a holographic structure, where the human mind is related to different levels of the cosmos. Calleman also discusses the precarious situation that our planet has come to at the present point in time and ends with a few words about what the origin of the three different types of origin may be.
