When Javi learns that his favorite cousin is coming to visit, he can’t contain his excitement. Being excited can be fun. The energy! The anticipation! But, excitement is still a feeling that needs to be managed. Luckily for kids, they have everything they need to manage their enthusiasm in all kinds of situations. This playful story takes on a familiar emotion and helps kids see that feelings can come on pretty strong, just like the weather. But just as we prepare for all types of weather outside, we can prepare for and manage all kinds of emotions on the inside.
