This witty, slow-burn rom-com is the "ideal beach read." --Elle
Justin has a curse, and thanks to a Reddit thread, it's now all over the internet. Every woman he dates goes on to find their soul mate the second they break up. When a woman slides into his DMs with the same problem, they come up with a plan: They'll date each other and break up. Their curses will cancel each other’s out, and they’ll both go on to find the love of their lives. It’s a bonkers idea… and it just might work.
Emma hadn't planned that her next assignment as a traveling nurse would be in Minnesota, but she and her best friend agree that dating Justin is too good of an opportunity to pass up, especially when they get to rent an adorable cottage on a private island on Lake Minnetonka.
It's supposed to be a quick fling, just for the summer. But when Emma's toxic mother shows up and Justin has to assume guardianship of his three siblings, they're suddenly navigating a lot more than they expected--including catching real feelings for each other. What if this time Fate has actually brought the perfect pair together?

Amazing
5By theworstappeverproducedI laughed and cried reading this book. Was hooked after the first chapter. Enjoyed it immensely.A must read
5By Lil Orphan AnnieThoroughly enjoyed the book. It gave me moments of pause and reflection, choosing empathy over anger.Amazing surprise
5By JennX1992I really loved this book. I went into it thinking this is going to be a little sweet romcom beach read. I want to report that it was so much more. It had so many twists and turns, unpredictable and honest.. I even learned a few things along the way. Well written and thought provoking. My only criticism is that it was a little wordy in places. Not her best work
2By caitbai0530I couldn’t finish. I read the sample and it didn’t draw me in but after so many good reviews, I figured I’d give it a shot. Nope. Drags so much it makes my head hurt. I have loved the dialogue in Jimenez’s other books so I had high expectations but these exchanges felt dry and unnatural, robotic almost. Such a bummer!Fantastic summer read,
5By viggo mamaIt’s a book that you will be telling all your friends about. Abby has the ability to pull you in love the characters and then as quick as she’s got you settled, she flips it up in the air and you realize that you’re taking on a roller coaster ride it is beyond a modern Romance. She is a real class.Just For The Summer
4By Rummy manJust a great feel good story. And we all need thatLoved it from start to finish!
5By Ggbobo1475It was laugh out loud funny, while some parts were heartbreaking. Written with so much depth. Definitely a winner!Fell in love
5By dardarfulThe start was a bit slow but I found that the story highlighted some important aspects of childhood, emotional trauma, abandonment, anxiety, and fear. I love how brave Emma was to face her trauma and I felt so invested in Justin’s growth too as a guardian but also as a supporter of someone going through trauma and recovery.Loved it!
5By amya219A really nice story about feelings, heartbreak and finding true love when you aren’t looking for it.Just read it!
