Ms. Bliss delivers a gripping and riveting romantic suspense story in Broken Arrow, which is bk 4 in the Open Road series. Annie is following dreams of art school. When she suddenly starts getting threatening notes. They are coming up everywhere. She’s scared and fears for her safety. So she starts searching for a PI to help her. She finds that in Josh aka Arrow. She feels an immediate connection with him. And knows he’s the one to keep her safe. As the threats increase and escalate Arrow comes up with a plan to keep her safe which will have them in close proximity together. This has them developing and acting on their connection and chemistry. Which is absolutely sizzling hot. The story is fast paced and I was absolutely invested in it and in Arrow and Annie. It’s intense and filled with tension. But also spicy and steamy. I loved the mystery and intrigue of who is behind the threats. I was gripped to my kindle needing to know what would happen next. And Annie and Arrow were just perfect together!

Broken Arrow - Book 4 in the Open Road series but could be read as a standalone Arrow and Annie's story was suspenseful and an entertaining read that I thoroughly enjoyed. There were twists I didn't anticipate and plenty of drama. I found the characters to be compelling and the intriguing storyline drew me in. Josh "Arrow" and Annie become acquainted after Annie hires him for his PI services. The mystery and suspense surrounding Annie's stalker kept me guessing and even shocked me at the end! They had a heartfelt connection and undeniable chemistry. I loved how protective of Annie; Arrow was from the start and how he believed in her. When things heated up the spice was well worth the wait! I love found family in books and the Open Road family showed up for Annie and Arrow and loved catching up with characters like Morris and Tiny. Broken Arrow was a great addition to this series.

4.8 stars This is the fourth book in the Open Road series, and it gives readers Arrow’s story and his perfect woman. Arrow has finally settled and opened his own firm. However, he is struggling and thinks about making some changes when in walks a reason to keep him right where he is. Annie is an up-and-coming artist who is following her dreams but gets caught up in some drama of the unsavory kind. From the beginning with these two, you feel their chemistry and Arrow will do anything he must to keep her safe. Overall, it is a fast paced read that has the pages turning quickly. There are twists and turns with a mystery thrown in that just adds to enhance this wonderful storyline and characters. You will leave with the feeling of the most amazing man having your back and them some.

as a huge fan of this author’s stories, I absolutely loved the deeper melding of her Men of Inked world and this Open Road world. Visits from her prior characters really rounded out a great story. Annie, a grad student, is being stalked. She seeks help and finds Arrow, a private investigator who takes on her case. As usual, the women rule while the supremely alpha men are there to support and protect the women. I love the feeling of true adoration between the couple and how, though short, these stories pack an emotional punch borne of great story telling. There is a bit of intrigue (who is stalking Annie? Who is the good guy, who is the bad guy?) and a lot of steam and love. Humor and banter round out a fast paced story that kept my attention. And the narration of the audiobook? Perfection, making it the best way to live through the story, if you have the chance!

Annie was at a loss of what to do about the threatening notes she was receiving. At first she thought it was a prank but now she was scared, with no one to help her. She made the right decision, though, when she walked into Arrow’s office because he took one look at her and realized she was frightened, sad and desperately in need of his help. He wished he wasn’t so attracted to Annie because falling for her would mess up his head and take his mind off of the danger that surrounded her. As the stalker’s behavior escalated, Annie and Arrow were running out of ideas and were in need of a new place to hide out. Fortunately, they were offered protection and a safe place to live by the local motorcycle club. Pretending to be Annie’s boyfriend was one of the easiest jobs Arrow ever had, and also one of the hardest. Annie was easy to love and he already felt connected to her, even after just a few days. Annie felt alone in the world until she met Arrow and now that they were joined at the hip until the stalker was caught, she wasn’t sure she could ever let him go. I had no idea who the stalker was and each time I thought they were closer to a resolution, new information sent them in a different direction. I love the “Open Road’’ series and it was great seeing all the brothers and their wives assist in the capture of the sinister stalker, whose identity took me completely by surprise!! The importance of family is the foundation of any Chelle Bliss book and Annie and Arrow realized that no matter how you are related, your family will always be there for you.
