Description
Christina Lauren, the instant New York Times bestselling and “reigning romance queens” (PopSugar), returns with a delicious new romance between the buttoned-up heir of a grocery chain and his free-spirited artist ex as they fake their relationship in order to receive a massive inheritance.
Anna Green thought she was marrying Liam “West” Weston for access to subsidized family housing while at UCLA. She also thought she’d signed divorce papers when the graduation caps were tossed, and they both went on their merry ways.
Three years later, Anna is a starving artist living paycheck to paycheck while West is a Stanford professor. He may be one of four heirs to the Weston Foods conglomerate, but he has little interest in working for the heartless corporation his family built from the ground up. He is interested, however, in his one-hundred-million-dollar inheritance. There’s just one catch.
Due to an antiquated clause in his grandfather’s will, Liam won’t see a penny until he’s been happily married for five years. Just when Liam thinks he’s in the home stretch, pressure mounts from his family to see this mysterious spouse, and he has no choice but to turn to the one person he’s afraid to introduce to his one-percenter parents—his unpolished, not-so-ex-wife.
But in the presence of his family, Liam’s fears quickly shift from whether the feisty, foul-mouthed, paint-splattered Anna can play the part to whether the toxic world of wealth will corrupt someone as pure of heart as his surprisingly grounded and loyal wife. Liam will have to ask himself if the price tag on his flimsy cover story is worth losing true love that sprouted from a lie.

So so so good!!
5By MrsM1979This book is so funny and sweet. Read it in a day. Couldn’t put it down.Ok…
3By skeziks23The middle felt really slow and the end really rushed. The conflict was alluded to and referenced but not really addressed or resolved within the storyline. Meh.Wonderful.
5By DrealkoyonaThis is CL at their best. I love nearly all their books but this is a solid 5 for me.Really good
5By Lfinley3I am generally not a romance reader. This popped up in my suggestions and looking for something lighter I decided to give it a shot. I truly enjoyed it. Great character development, fun plot, beautiful setting and just enough seriousness to keep it interesting. Loved it!Fun read

5By Julian michal mascotsThis book was so much fun to read! I loved Anna, the main character. She had so much confidence and charm. Her Dad raised her right! This book is a great summer beach read and held me I in there till the end. Great book!Loved!!!
5By Mih_HallOkay my girls are back on their A game! Loved both protagonists, steamy without being too much, cute plot, and well written! Loved this oneEhh…
2By bookedtwin98Ehhhh. Not my favorite of the duo. Usually am at least giving them a 4/5…but while the main couples arch was cute there needed to be more/better development of their attraction. The sentiment is there just some build up missing…writing is well per usual but something was definitely off in this one. Some of the verbiage also threw me off—using GD to describe the mmc package was off putting and not in a blasphemous way but just didn’t fit the flow. I loved how unconventional Anna was, that was nice—but things flowed too smoothly between the couple imo. Which can be nice but doesn’t do much for plot. Just found harder to get through.Loved this, happy I got it
5By Miles_mommyI was a little leery to spend this much on a book. I read ALOT. But it was well worth it. Iloved this story. In the beginning some of the sadness had me questioning whether I was really going to enjoy this book. The happy times outweigh bad and the laughter outshines the sadness. This is probably one of the few books that I'll at some point read again.
