Beyond just being a warhammer novel. The plot, themes, and emotions evoked genuinely had me on the edge of my seat and biting at the bit to read more! The story is so solid it could be moved to other genres! It could be a city under siege, a pirate ship at sea, a group of individuals instead of a miles long ship! It speaks volumes of the author’s skill and measure!

An interesting yet drawn out story that had remarkably little to do with the bigger story of this series. I found myself skimming pages and trying to get to something that mattered most of the second half of the book. Overall disappointing in my opinion.

Don’t waste your money , this was awful !!
