Description
Deception cuts deep in the next propulsive novel in #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan’s Torpedo Ink motorcycle club series.
The stranger frequenting Azelie Vargas’s local coffee shop is a sight to behold. He’s tall, dark, muscular, and a complete distraction. She’s worried one look from his striking silver eyes will have her acting a fool. But it’s not a look that sets Azelie aflame—it’s the way he boldly tells her every dark, dirty thing he’d like to do to her. She should be scandalized. Instead, all she wants to do is say yes.
Andrii “Maestro” Federoff is in San Francisco on club business. Torpedo Ink needs information to bust up a human trafficking ring, and Maestro has found his mark. After weeks of stealthy observation, he’s not sure if Azelie is involved directly, or if she’s just working for some bad people. What he does know is that he needs to get close to her fast, and soon he can’t get enough.
What began as a setup quickly turns real. But no matter how hot they burn, Maestro’s betrayal could leave their hearts smoldering in the ashes.…

Fantastic
5By bdndmdnfjI love all her books. She makes you fall in love with the characters. Makes you laugh and cry. Love the main characters and the Merry Widows. I would go to the coffee shop and listen to them too. Want them to meet the red hat ladies.Disappointing
1By Black-rose22Barely made it through this story. Maestro lost his edge in this book , he is not the same dominant man as he is in the other stories and the female character (can’t remember name) was so bad ,totally blah , lights were on but nobody was home. I remember the days of getting a new Christine Feehan novel and the excitement from waiting on it to come out carried through to the end of the book but that isn’t the case anymore. It’s not just this series either, it has been all of them . Back to rereading her earlier books love them.Betrayal Road
5By 14226amyI love this book! The main characters steal your heart from the beginning and you can’t help but become invested in their journey. The coffee shop crew had me laughing so hard! Perfect! This will be one I reread a lot!Awww Inducing
5By EchinodermatasI love the entire Torpedo Ink series and I eagerly awaited the release of this book. Each story has its own darkness that the characters overcome and this novel wasn’t any different. I did appreciate that it wasn’t as emotionally heavy hitting as Savage’s story. He needed two books and they were beautiful, along with the following Recovery Road. I love how Maestro’s emotions are so cleverly written and how he and Azelie just mesh perfectly. My heart trembled, melted, and pounded for them throughout the book and I can’t get enough of them. Azelie’s strength in her love of her friends and then for Maestro resonated with me and I LOVE her coffee shop pals. They are a hoot and a half. I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait for the next installment.Needs Editing and Focus
3By winterladyI really, for the most part, like the ‘Road’ Series by Christine Feehan. I’ve read all of them and I’m finding a trend which I hope gets turned around. I understand you have to have back story for new readers. But the repetitive content over and over between the characters is coming across as boring instead of lending credibility to the characters motivations. This book clocks in at around 1K pages in eBook Format. I would say about 1/3 of it is repetitive content and I’m 70% through the book. Her characters are REALLY strong. And I don’t know if this is a deficiency in editing or focus, but the basic story/plot is decent, yet it’s getting draaaaaggggg down by extra weight that shouldn’t be there. I really love Feehan’s work and I hope she can turn the series around. My goal in writing this is the hope that the author gets this: I don’t like skipping pages and pages of exposition because I’ve already read it.Betrayal Road
5By Holly MullisIt was terrific. I love the characters especially the true demonstration of real feelings and emotion. But I love everything that Christine Feehan writes. Thank youSo Bad
1By mksinTexasI couldn’t even get through this book. I was so excited for another book in this series to come out. The heroine is mealy mouth and the hero is no hero. I can’t believe the author that wrote about Reaper and Savage wrote this mess. I gave one star, but I was being kind.Meh
2By WhyareallthenicknamestskenIt was okay. Not a favorite. Just seems like the series is stagnant.Engrossing read.
5By AHCyonderinGreat read, like all of Christine Feehan’s series. I was drawn into the characters and story line. Laughter and tears once again. Thanks for sharing your soul.
