What a delightful short read! Not a lot of writers these days embrace the short story or novella. If you read Agatha Christie or A. Conan Doyle you know that the short story was an integral part of their character and world-building. Kristen Weiss has once again taken us on a wonderful little romp through Sicily where a wedding quickly leads to mystery and of course the eat of cannoli! Maddie is once again faced with a tantalizing mystery on a shopping trip that leads to kidnapping and death!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I loved The Cannoli Caper. A super quick read and I literally laugh out loud on the first page. I love Maddie’s commentary in her head. She’s so quirky and funny. The supporting characters are great and the mystery was interesting.
