The Underworld Series: Rise of the King

I literally couldn’t put this book down.

Excellent book. This format is definitely better than the chapter a week format… however, you could utilize some proofreading

I started reading this series years ago and I absolutely fell in love with it! I was so excited that she published her books and bought a paper copy as well as digital. RJ Kane is a very talented author and knows how to keep a reader hooked! I can wait for the rest of the series tp come out as well as new writings!

RJ Kane is my favorite author at the moment! So happy for them to finally publish and get away from the pay per chapter book app they’ve been fighting. I can’t wait to finally be able to share this amazing story with my friends and family! Amazing character development and so much relatable and funny commentary! I read all 514 chapters on the app three times! I just bought the e-book and I pre-ordered my paperback! Best story ever! Can’t wait to keep re-reading all 4 volumes! And volume 4 to be new content! This book started out with promise but partway through it’s like the author got lost in their own plot. They wrote from six different POVs of the same chapter over and over again, which makes it repetitive. The book moves extremely slow as a result. It lacks key details like what city, what do the main characters look like, etc. Overall, The book lacks a lot of development and could use proofreading. Might even be written by AI. The main character, Sephie, is suppose to be an adult who has fended for herself for 8 years but comes across like a teenager. If someone doesn’t like her it’s because they’re jealous. If Sephie doesn’t like someone, it’s because they are super flawed, petty, and a terrible person. Sephie drops her best friend but it’s her best friend who has the problem. Adrik and Sephie lack connection beyond the physical. Adrik is suppose to be a major crime boss but he doesn’t do any crime. The 5 main guys in her life seem like they cannot emotionally process without her being present. They are also willing to ruin their own relationships to be around her.

I love everything about this book. I originally found it on another platform, and never put it down. I have read it multiple times and love that it is now on this app. The author had made falling in love with all of the characters and invested in each of their journeys. I can’t wait to read more about everyone.
