This book's purpose is to serve as a text or reference book for students of plant science who are seeking a proper foundation upon which to build a scientific knowledge of how plants grow. It is assumed for the most part of this book that the reader has a previous knowledge in elementary organic and inorganic chemistry. It is hope that this book will also serve as a stimulus into further study of this fascinating subject.
