Description

A young man feeling overlooked collides with a firecracker who men can’t look away from in this heart-wrenching and passionate Sea Breeze novel from New York Times bestselling author Abbi Glines.

Jason is sick of living in his rock star brother’s shadow. So when he ships off to Sea Breeze, Alabama, he’s looking for a much deserved escape and a chance to blow off some envious steam. Falling for the local bad girl was definitely not the plan.

Fresh from busting the windows of her cheating ex’s car, Jess easily charms wide-eyed tourist Jason into giving her a ride home from the scene of her crime. She enjoys exploring their instant chemistry but doesn’t kid herself: rich boys like him don’t end up with girls from the wrong side of the tracks like her.

As the duo’s naughty fun in the Alabama sun starts to get complicated with deeper feelings than either was prepared for, Jason and Jess must decide if their fling can be transformed into their forever.

  • Why are these books so expensive

1/9/14 I am a huge abbi fan but it bothers me to pay $9.99 for this book. The entire series has cost me a fortune. She should work with the publisher and charge a more reasonable price for her books. I haven't read it yet but will let you know how it is in a day or two. 1/17 I have never taken so long to read a book. It was the worse one in this series. Only one good chapter No. 26, the entire book was rushed. I'm sad that Jason had such a crappy story and poor Jess had a terrible, predictable story line. I'm so disappointed.

I love reading these books! I did not rate 5 stars due to the following: Price Too short Spelling / grammar errors. I realize that every good book is always too short and everyone makes mistakes, but the price can come way down. The cost to produce and submit a book via e-reader is far less than any paperback or hard cover. Start treating it that way.

I absolutely LOVE Abbi Gline's books. I've read all of them and not one of them do I not like. Misbehaving is about a girl named Jess who lives a poor life. Her moms a stripper and her boyfriend claims to love her but keeps cheating on her and already has a kid with somebody else. After trashing her boyfriends truck and fleeing she runs into Jason Stone, the brother of superstar Jax Stone, and he helps her escape. After that they both start seeing more and more of each other. Jess fears that Jason will eventually dump her because she's white-trash and isn't rich like his family. They both won't admit there feelings for each and both experience love for the first time with each other. Abbi Glines really knows how to draw a reader in. I can't wait for Take a Chance, and Rush Too Far to come out.

I love Abbi Glines, and I've read every book she has ever written and preordered all of her upcoming books; but Misbehaving was disappointing. I don't know if I'm losing interest in this genre or her books, but I expected a lot more from Glines. Maybe I wasn't as connected to the new characters in this book as I should have. I feel that dropping Hank from the storyline should have happened entirely, Jess and her mom's occupation and Jason's lack of emotion (in other words, he had dumb reasons not to act on them) all irritated me, and there was too much negativity. Half of the time Jess and Jason weren't even together. Plus, Glines didn't incorporate other characters from the series as much in comparison to her previous novels. It was mostly Jess and Jason in their own world. I rated Misbehaving two stars because although I was disappointed, maybe I was misled or just didn't interpret Glines' purpose and representation of this novel correctly. All in all, I did not like the story of Jess and Jason. [Sorry] Hopefully Glines can redeem herself with her new releases.

This book I read in under 7 hours on its release date I was so ready to read it but also apprehensive at the same time her saying this was her first try at the bad girl. Well you've done it again I've fell just as on love with this one as I have ALL of the other books. I am an extreme fan of her books all of them and if this was the first book you've read of hers and you don't want to read more...I recommend a doctor; something is wrong with you.

Jess and Jason-j💕j- have a great connection. Unlike Sadie and Blaire, Jess seemed really genuine and real-like Amanda and Eva. It was a great change from the untouched innocent girl thing! Way to go Abby! P.s: write about kirt? Please? :D
