5By MikeyPodThis book is alive with passion, love and humanity in a beautifully ordinary way. The characters are vivid and detailed but I never felt bogged down in their descriptions. Being immersed in this story and its painful timelessness made me uncomfortably aware of the racial bias I’ve yet to unpack.If Beale Street Could Talk…
