5By Combatdiver84Being an active duty SF guy this book just makes me jealous. It puts you in situations and places that these guys actually work in and are in when they are operational. I just wished I would've walked a little bit faster on that Monday of stress and maybe I would've made it pass "Bloody Thursday".Simply terrible
1By M MonahanI have read all the Dalton Fury books. Only bad book in the Racer series. Absolute, unadulterated junk. Full Assault Mode was clearly pasted together to fulfill an obligation to the publisher. The plot is incongruous and moves disjointedly from one situation and geography to the next, not to mention Kolt's in and out Delta status. Might be least bit interesting if reader is fixated with guns. Seemingly half the words in the book are dedicated to weapons and ammo. The editor should be ashamed.Tough to follow
3By I <3 Arabs!Love the series and Fury in all his other books. I felt a little lost when Kolt joined Tungsten and all of a sudden is in the middle of being Timothy Reston. And when Reston was in the paper as a hero on stopping the attacks, wouldn't that surprise the bad guys that Timothy Reston was still hanging out with Joma? Like I said before, I absolutely love and enjoy the whole series. Just thought this one was a little off and didn't flow very well, but still will pre-order the next Racer thriller!Good book
4By ericandiGood book. Non stop action and a fun read. Definitely not the best in this series. The story lines gets a little out of whack and there are some glaring inconsistencies and some really far fetched parts. Not just suspension of disbelief stuff, but stuff that just downstairs make sense. Otherwise, it's a really fund read. I definitely love all the spec ops vernacular that could only be written by a real Tier 1 Operator like Dalton a Fury.Great read
