Description

Ten-year-old Amos comes from a very ordinary working class family. They were so ordinary, that even though they were living in the twentieth century, it seemed from their way of life that they were, actually stuck in the nineteenth century. His name was even popular back then!

He was the only child in the house, where he lived with his parents and his Grandma. It was a bit of a squeeze, but they all fitted in well and got on with each other superbly. The main thing was, that they loved one another very much.

Every Christmas, Grandma would get the Christmas Tree out. The tree was very old like Grandma and it was very special. It was so special, that it granted wishes.

Time was passing for Grandma and it was time to pass the magic tree onto Amos. When Amos uses it for the very first time, he makes the mistake of not understanding how to use the tree properly and ‘over wishes.’

Can Amos overcome the desire for more and understand how to use the tree in the correct way?
