This book was wonderful! Just what I needed...☺️. It was different from the usual shifter stories; I like how it included different types of shifters, although it was kind of weird at first when I came across the word "otter shifter", but that passed quickly. There was an objective right from the beginning and it didn't start out as I expected and that first scene definitely set the stage for the story. And the main character Jax...such a hunk (haha based off the descriptions of him). I was so glad they paired him with a girl that had spunk, sass, and was clearly street savvy enough to know how to protect herself and keep a straight face, let's not forget her sarcastic humor. I also enjoyed Jax's friends and found myself hoping that they had a story too because they all sounded interesting in their own way. And I can't forget about one of my favorite characters, Pixie, she really helped make the book enjoyable with her thieving ways and funny comments. You've got to adore a great supporting character.
