This is the first book by Christine Warren, I have read. I was not disappointed. I thought I would never find a male with horns and tail attractive. I like Kees with his dry humor and engaging personality. Poor Ella with her quick wit and agreeable heroine. They make a very fetching couple. The story begins when Ella has an altercation with Patrick Stanley and an unknown attacker. Kees wakes up from his slumber to save the heroine. Throughout the story, Ella learns she posses magic and Kees trains her to use it properly. They both grasp there is a bigger evil threat in the works. Meanwhile, they are fighting the attraction to each other. I can't wait to read the next book to find out the next course. I received a complimentary copy for an honest review.

Wonderful story, great plot. I look forward to the next one. This is the first time I have read this author and I liked it, however, there are a lot of typos in the form of wrong words. Like "town instead of torn" making the flow to the story stop abruptly. I hope the next story is proofed a little more carefully.
