Description
New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands returns to the Highlands of Scotland in her hottest new historical romance yet!
Highlander Campbell Sinclair is no stranger to battle, so when he sees a lad attacked by bandits, he jumps into the fray. He didn't count on being stabbed. Grateful to the boy for nursing him back to health, Cam offers to accompany Jo safely to his destination. But when he accidentally comes across the lad bathing in the river, Cam discovers that Jo is actually Joan . . . with the most sinful of curves.
Joan promised her mother that she would deliver a scroll to the clan MacKay. But traveling alone is dangerous, even disguised as a boy. When a Scottish warrior lends his aid, she is more than relieved . . . until he surprises her with lingering kisses and caresses that prove her disguise hasn't fooled him. As their passion ignites, will the secrets of the scroll force a wedding . . . and lead to a love she's never known?

They forgot a character
4By LouraebBook was great ONLY thing I didn’t like was that they erased a character from the previous book and just pretended she didn’t exist. Ross’s sister. Which was weird, not sure if the books were written apart and she was just forgotten about ? But the book was great besides that.Love it
5By dpr mdI’m reading the Highlander bride series. I read this type of book often but this writer actually makes me laugh out loud. She is quite entertaining with her sarcasm and descriptions. And the attitudes that she portrays in her characters are so realistic but with great humor and of course love. I’m now on book 4 of the series I’ll continued to readA sweet story
4By 98268465118:Interesting with classic plot lines but not predictable. There were some errors in the writing and names used in the wrong places, but only one or two and it didn’t ruin the story.Another great book

5By Mom on edgeThis was the first book I have read but I got the audiobook also. Kieran Elliott made the book! I'm a sucker for a Scottish accent and his voice is amazing. I've listened to the book several times. I wish Ms. Sands would have him record more!I expect more
2By Kia2090I love this author and this is the first book that I have been disappointed in. It wasn't so bad I couldn't finish it but it wasn't her best work
