Description

In this seductive new novella from New York Times bestselling author Sydney Landon, Mia Gentry refuses to give up her independence—until Seth Jackson shows her just how hot losing control can be…

Living the life of a rich socialite was never in Mia’s plans, much to the chagrin of her wealthy parents. She’s made her own way, studying computer science at Brown and snagging a coveted position with Danvers International after graduation. Her plan to avoid parental involvement seems to be going well until her mother buys her a date at a charity auction—with the hot resort owner who she’s been eyeing on her latest work project.

Seth never mixes business with pleasure, but something about Mia drives him to distraction. Giving into his desires for just one night will hopefully clear his head enough to keep his hands off her during office hours.

But when one mind-blowing night turns into weeks of flirtation, frustration, and companionship, Mia realizes that their workplace fling may be developing into more—and that Seth might be the perfect man she’s been waiting for…

  • Wonderful as always

I really loved this story. It's a novella or short story so everything is fast paced. Novellas don't involve tons of back story which is great. I loved Mia and Seth together and I know we will see more in upcoming books because Sydney always keeps back characters in new books. This had the trademark humor along with hot, sexy scenes. I love this very talented author and her Danvers world. Can't wait for Emma and Brant.

I am a Danvers fan and was looking forward to reading this book however this book was over before you knew it. The storyline could've been good if the Author had put more time into it.

Sydney landon is one of my fav romance authors, but this book isn't like the other Danvers series. It was disappointing. Characters aren't developed & it's just not that good.
