Days of Rage
By Brad Taylor
Pike Logan and the Taskforce are used to being the hunters. But in this explosive “thriller that really thrills”(Publishers Weekly) from New York Times bestselling author Brad Taylor, they are the hunted...
Intent on embroiling the US in a quagmire that will sap its economy and drain its legitimacy, Russia passes a potential weapon of mass destruction to Boko Haram, an extreme Islamic sect in Nigeria. The Russian FSB believes the weapon, a relic of the Cold War, has deteriorated and is no longer effective, but they are wrong. Boko Haram has the means for mass destruction, which will be set loose upon a multitude of unsuspecting innocents on one of the world’s grandest stages.
Trying to uncover who might be stalking them, Pike Logan and the Taskforce have no idea what has been set in motion. But there is another secret from the Cold War buried in the Russian FSB, and exposing it will mean the difference between life and death for millions.
The widows spike5By On LookoutThis is an awesome read and I'm on to the next Pike Logan thriller!!
Non stop action; great fun5By ericandiAnother awesome Pike Logan thriller. It has non-stop action and great spec ops realism written by Taylor an ex-Delta Force operator. My only knock on the book is the huge loose end at the conclusion of the book. Taylor didn't give any resolution or discussion to any repercussions against the nation state that was behind this entire evil plot. I won't give away any names even though it's pretty obvious early on in the book. The main bad guys are dealt with but there is no mention of how the U.S. punishes the nation state and the high level leaders who initiated this evil plot from the start. Hopefully the next book will address this issue. Pike would never let this stand.
Best of the Series!5By Rox Ann 48Loved this book! Days of Rage is the best Pike Logan book so far!!
Couldn't put it down!5By ShaanisaExcited to see a new story about Pike and Jennifer. A little slow setting up the story but once I got into it, I had to finish! I'm not a big reviewer of books but thought I had to do this one because it kept me engrossed!
