About the Reading Teacher series: The 100 books in the series use systematic phonics to ensure that your beginning readers will get a great start in reading proficiency. The books begin at a very simple level and gradually introduce new sounds and words until students have mastered all 44 phonemes (sounds) in the English language. Since 2013 this series has been downloaded over 636K times!
The books should be read in order because the sounds and words in each book build upon those learned in previous books. It is important that students master each book before moving on to the next.
Each new word throughout the program is repeated at least 5 times in the book in which it first appears and 5 more times in the next 10 books.

Great to teach beginning readers
5By FrancisMorganI can't understand why anyone would rate this series less than 5 stars. Maybe they don't realize that these are decidable books where only certain sounds and words can be used. As the books go on more words are learned by students, so the books get more interesting plots. An excellent way to teach children how to read.Great book for a preschooler.
5By Fire game 318This was a great first read for my preschooler and his younger twin brothers. He like reading it to me and his brothers are trying also.Super!
4By Happy2besavedI'm a teacher of 35 years. In my 20 years of teaching kindergarten, I used these books as a supplement with my challenged students and became a fan. All my students learned to read successfully! And, now, to see color and to hear music--what motivation to develop a love of reading! I will be using this reading program to help my granddaughter learn to read!Made reading fun and easy!
5By artcmomThese books were great when they were just books. Now on mobile devices they are amazing. I taught all three of my kids to read when they were between 4 and 5 years old using Reading Teacher. I am not a teacher, but my family member that recommended them is. The research and the concept behind them is ingenious. After your child has learned the letter sounds, they WILL LEARN TO READ using this program only! You don't need anything else. The app makes the series even more fun for the kids, but the sense of accomplishment and confidence that comes with reading a whole book is motivation enough to keep going!
