Description

Book #1 in the Storm MC Series.

Madison Cole's family is the Storm Motorcycle Club. Her father is the President and her brother is the VP. She grew up surrounded by bikers, crime and violence. Two years ago she walked away from her family and the world they live in. Her soul was shattered, her heart was broken and she had an addiction she couldn't shake. She picked up the pieces and put herself back together. Now her family wants her back. The club is being threatened and they send a club member to return her home to safety; the one person that could destroy everything she has worked so hard to build.

Jason Reilly has sacrificed a lot for the motorcycle club he calls family. Two years ago he made the biggest sacrifice of all; he gave up the woman he loved for them. Now he is being sent to bring her back and he is conflicted. He thought he was over her but discovers their connection is as strong as ever. Their love was all-consuming, passionate and fiery. It was also their undoing and he doesn't know if either of them is strong enough to battle the demons that ripped them apart, to find love again.

Madison and Jason are brought back together by a force out of their control; one that pushes them to a breaking point. Can they overcome their past and discover a love worth fighting for or will the harsh reality of their world finally and completely break them both?

0 stars!!! Terrible literally this is like Stockholm's syndrome! She is a settler and lets him bully her! Jay is no better than Nix the bad guy (her ex)! There is no communication at all! They argue, ignore each other and have sex! This is not a solution or long term healthy way of dealing with problems between couples. They never solved their past problems!

This is the first book I have read by Ms. Levine and really enjoyed it. Am beginning the second book of the series and will continue with the remaining books. Took me a little while to warm up to Jay & Madison but they sorta grow on you! Looking forward for Scott's story to unfold.

If you want a biker 'romance' with no depth this is for you! Madison is completely unlikeable & J is a cheap imitation of the 'biker with a heart' trope. But more than that their entire relationship is about s$x. There's nothing likable about them as a couple, nothing cute or witty or funny. They argue all the time & hit the sheets to resolve their issues. This was a dud for me.

I couldn't finish this book. It was just so bad!! My 7 year could have corrected and edited the writing in this book if it was appropriate for her to do so. Thank goodness it was free because it was bad enough that I loss 3 hours of my life with this book but if I had to pay for it, it would have been a lot worse!!

Normally I lose interest in books pretty fast. But storm had me hooked from the first few words. I read this whole book in just 2days(would have finished it sooner but I'm on vacation gotta do other things too) but I just got the second book and now I'm hooked! Highly recommend this book!!!

A little confusing at the beginning but once you get past the first chapter it was hard to put down. I did skip some of the sex scenes just to get back to the great story 😜.
  • Good book, bad spelling

I really liked this storyline but there were so many grammatical errors! So many, that I lost focus on the story.
