5By whyareallthegoodonestskenFinally read this after wanting to for years (at least a decade), and my god was it worth it. One thing I didn’t know from cultural osmosis was the open-ended conclusion to the story, something that definitely wrapped it up in perhaps the best way it could be. 10/10, would read the spooks again.A Must Read
4By Andy The AuthorOne of the earliest, shortest, and greatest American ghost stories of all time is an excellent read for children and adults of any age.Short and Sweet
4By SknurtI actually feel like the movies I’ve seen carry this story quite well, but written word can build tension in a different way than a movie. I found it to be an enjoyable short story.Good book
