This expanded third edition of Furstenfeld’s book contains lyrics, handwritten notes, and personal photographs. The book includes all lyrics from Blue October’s albums and EPs, from 1998’s The Answers through 2011’s Any Man In America, as well as a preview of the band’s latest album, Sway, and lyrics from a number of unreleased songs. Crazy Making gives the reader a personal and in depth look inside Furstenfeld’s creativity and thought process.
Crazy Making includes full length audio on select songs to enhance the reading experience, as well as Blue October’s music videos from Any Man In America and Sway, and links to all of the band’s digitally available catalog.

We didn't realize how much goes into each song until we saw Justin at his Open Book Tour and listened to him read from his book, Crazy Making. Each chapter or song has an incredible heart wrenching story behind it. And Justin is an amazing story teller. He takes you into his heart. This book is about Justin's struggles through life, love for his daughter, and becoming the man he is today. He has included artwork, photos and handwritten notes. 5By JpoZjYou will not find a more in dept lyricist. The feelings and emotions of real world experiences coming through in Justin’s words are incredible. You can see his fall to depression and rise up through the struggles to achieve happiness in life. Coming from a person who has been diagnosed with clinical depression, the songs in this book has helped me deal and realize I am not alone in my struggles. There is no amount of thanks I can give this guy for having a way of putting these feelings into words.blue love
