Scenes in the Life of Harriet Tubman

This book is dedicated to illuminate some stories of the life of Harriet Tubman, published with the intent to urge the government to create a fund for Tubman in her last years, such was her ill state of health. Called the Moses of her people, Tubman's legacy of bravery and work on the Underground Railroad is not forgotten. It is reported that she received $1,200 from the sales of this book—nearly $30,000 today.
