Description

The third book in the Heart of Stone series continues the sensual and emotional story of Tristan and Nina that began in Crash Into Me and continued in Fall Into Me...

Tristan Stone has lived a life other men would kill for. Literally. But all the money, women, and fast cars mean nothing to him since Nina came into his life. Danger lurks around every turn with enemies wearing friendly faces. Whatever it takes, he'll protect the woman he loves because without her, life isn't worth living.

Nina Edwards had no idea of the world Tristan would give her. All her dreams have come true, but with the good comes the bad, and this world of his has more than enough of that. For love, though, she'll face not only Tristan's demons but anyone who stands in her way of finally finding happiness with the man she loves.

Truly enjoyed Tristan and Nina’s story. The first book cleverly ended in a cliffhanger and I just had to find out the rest. The plot is great except for when Tristan had to disappear alone to keep Nina safe. Like Nina, I don’t understand why they couldn’t disappear together. The rest of the story was seamless, and they definitely deserved the happy ending!

I love this book and what a way to end the series leading readers to wonder about Tristan and Nina's happily ever after. Thanks for such a good read!

All the truth its revealed! Poor Tristan! Lead to believe one thing and turned out to be completely different. Amazing series! I hate that it ended, but I guess all good things must come to an end.
  • Glad that is done. Could not wait to finish. I did not like.

The third book is about protecting Nina. Also, Tristan is in hiding and is going to fake his death. He wants Nina to pretend to move on so Karl will no longer feel threatened by them both. Tristan still needs to find out what Karl is looking for.Tristan wants to keep Nina safe and claims they are worth fighting for. Even if it means she has to pretend to be interested in another man. My mind keeps drifting. I can't stay focused. It's so boring. The writing style is immature and lacking. Nothing written draws in my attention. I'm just reading the words and skimming through the pages as quickly as I can. I want to reach the end and move onto a better book. Garbage is what this is. I like to read stories where I can relate with the characters not read junk. I'm wasting my time, yet I'm determined to finish because I spent good money. This story is loaded with lies and deception. Tristan's love for Nina has brought nothing but pain into the lives of the people he associates with. The story reminds me of a soap opera with all it's drama and flare for the unrealistic circumstances. Nina is such a brat. All that money is making her sound like a spoiled temper-tantrum child. Tristan has an abundance of money and pays for a detective and body guards, yet he does not pay to have Karl taken care of. Why? Would make the story better. Money turns all these people into babies. They whine about everything. All these characters are shallow. They immediately jump to conclusions and easily disregard friendship and love so carelessly. When I read a story about the lead female character I look for someone who I can learn from and admire. Nothing Nina does is very admirable. I think the look on Daryl's face is shock. He's shocked at how childish Nina is acting. Why must she be so dramatic? Nothing was accomplished by Tristan moving away. So were back to square one with Tristan back in the house with Nina. When will we find out what Karl is hiding? Get on with it already.

What a great end to a fantastic trilogy! I loved Tristan and Nina, and have been waiting, what seems like forever for the final book! The story had a great amount of suspense and angst with of course, the steamy love that only Tristan and Nina have and I of course couldn’t put it down unitl it was finished. Sad to see their story end but happy they got their HEA.

I was given an ARC for an honest review. Tristan and Nina are two of the most frustrating characters I have ever had the chance to read about! The story picked up right where it left off at the end of Fall Into Me. Tristan left Nina thinking that he would keep her safe from Karl, but in reality it hurt Nina because she thought that maybe he just didn't love her or have feelings for her anymore. They go through so much in this part of their story, but I am afraid to reveal too much. I really did go on a roller coaster ride of emotions with these two. I kept telling myself to only read one more chapter because I wanted to make their story last, however it was just one that when you start reading you can't stop yourself from finishing the whole book. I recommend you read this book if you have read the first two, and if you haven't then you need to do so immediately. K.M. Scott did an amazing job wrapping up this series. ~crystal

Let me begin by saying that I received this book as an ARC from the author for a review. This is the final book in the series. I definitely would not recommend that anyone read this book without having read the previous books, Crash Into Me and Fall Into Me. There is just too much in this book that you can't understand if you haven't read the previous books. I highly recommend them both. Now for the good the bad and the ugly. First the Good. Tristan is Back. I loved the development of Tristan. He has matured into the man we knew he could be. His love for Nina is what I think any woman would dream of. Also loved the fact that the author tried to tie up all the loose ends and answer all the questions that you had rambling around in your brain. I also liked her final treatment of Victor and Taylor's character issues. The bad....for me anyway. I found Nina to be immature all the way through the series. Several times she was described as being strong? Didn't see her that way at all. She's a crier. She cried about everything and takes to her bed for days. Can we say Drama Queen. She Finally admitted that perhaps she had unrealistic expectations of Tristan. Duh. The Ugly award goes to Kim. I have wanted someone to slap her for 3 books now. Still sad that it didn't happen. Thank you to the author for a fine story. I look forward to more.
