Fall Out

This book was so rushed and utterly ridiculous in the forced banter between the characters. Give me a break...together for a lame "spy-like" weekend surrounded by supposed military covert ops, separated for months and then he proposes? No thanks.

This is Navy SEAL, Drew Castle's story. His best friend, Kevin, was killed in action. Kevin always told his sister Annie, that she could always trust Drew. When she shows up on his doorstep asking for help, he drops everything to help her. Is constantly hearing Kevin's voice in his head enough to make him keep his hands off the beauty in her that he never recognized before? I love the SEALs Undone series! Drew seemed like he was just existing before Annie barged in on his life and brought adventure with her. I love how she freaks out on the inside but she's cool as a cucumber on the outside. That is until she faints from anxiety at one point in the story. He fights his attraction and does really well with it until the shower scene. Talk about steamy! I would have loved for the story to be a little longer including more background information on Drew and Kevin but it was still a great read.
