The Distinguishing Marks of a Work of the Spirit of God

The classic work by Jonathan Edwards explaining the role of the Holy Spirit in revival.  
Edwards saw a mighty move of the Spirit of God during the Great Awakening, which led to many coming to Christ.  As often happens, however, criticism arose due to some of the events and experiences that occurred.  It is to counter these criticisms, and to further explain the work of God, that Edwards wrote this pivotal work.
