5By txphotodiva75Very simple to read and understand. The only thing that temporarily confused me was the fact this book teaches Spanish from Spain vs. Mexican Spanish, which is what I took in high school. There’s not a huge difference, so, that’s why I was just temporarily confused. Also, thanks for the long list of -ar, -er, and -ir verbs for practicing conjugation. Other books I’ve used in the past to help me remember the Spanish I learned about 30 years ago in high school, only gave a very short list of verbs to practice with. Most of the time, they were the verbs I still remembered from years ago. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is just now learning how to speak Spanish, or is trying to refresh their memory of Spanish they learned years ago.Helpful and Informative
5By Edward P. ShiklesFor those just beginning to learn Spanish, this is an excellent place to start. Note that I said start. It is not sufficient in and of itself but is an excellent booklet for familiarizing oneself with the Spanish language. It goes over articles, basic phrases, verbs and conjugations, and provides a respectable vocabulary that will kick-start your journey with Spanish. I would recommend highly for beginners.Love it
5By sorry4everAnd I have two of Linda Plummer’s other books, which I am enjoying. This one is very good for beginners. Covers basics, enough to give you an idea of what the language and grammar is all about. There's a lot to know when learning a second language. This book may not be conclusive, but a lot of basic stuff is there, basic stuff that you will need to know. I found the book to be very useful. Thanks. Updated 12/20/2020.Great
