Description

A sexy category romance from Entangled's Brazen imprint... She'll teach him the art of seduction one play at a time... Publicist Aubrey Cooper never should have crossed the line. After all, pro football player Flynn Foley is her client. But something about this mouth-wateringly-hot, clean-cut athlete makes Aubrey imagine all kinds of steamy fantasies. And it only takes one game-changing play―and one night―to turn the tables from strictly business to very, very personal… Flynn has maintained a no-sexy-distractions policy for his entire pro career. Aubrey is exactly the kind of distraction he was trying to avoid, and she's the one he can't resist. When the media catches wind of their naughty little liaison, however, Aubrey's boss steps in to make them an official couple. What Flynn doesn't know is that Aubrey is forced to fake the relationship―or lose her job. Now Aubrey must hide the truth…even as she begins to fall for Flynn.

Karen Erickson's new book, “Game for Tonight,” part of the Game For It series, is a wonderful read. I previously read Karen’s “Game for Marriage” and “Game for Trouble,” which I thought were fantastic, and “Game for Tonight” does not disappoint. If you are anything like me and love a good series, then I suggest you read Game For It! No worries, you can read this series in any order, but I suggest starting from the beginning - I think you will appreciate Karen’s character development over the books and how she links all of the characters' lives together. “Game for Tonight” concerns Aubrey Cooper, one of the publicists for a pro-football team (the series focuses on the love lives of three players), and Flynn Foley, her client and the back-up QB. These two have been attracted to each other for a while, but they have not acted on their feelings for fear that they will be fired for breaking the “no fraternization” rule at work. However, these two throw the rule book out the window, with a little encouragement from friends and persuasion from the bosses above, and some sweet and hilarious situations ensue. I have read all of Karen’s books … yes, every single book, every single series. Clearly, I love her writing. She has the ability to draw you into whichever world she wants, and makes you feel like you know the characters as well as you know your own friends. While all of her books are romantic, I think more of her series are on the steamy/sexy side, some with great alpha male characters - including the first two books in this series -I felt that this book reflected a softer and more vulnerable side to her characters. Don’t get me wrong - the “romance” scenes are awesome, but I loved this different side to her characters. I suggest you check out this book and this series. I received this book for free in exchange for a honest review.
