It was ok. Decent read.

I loved this book so much !!!!!

I’m just now getting back into reading I chose this one because Verna and I share the same last name so it was easy to take the story more personal. That aside the reading was really enjoyable but this gas did started moving a little fast at a certain point and I feel like the a lot of the little details started to be let out having you yearn for more details like in the beginning. I do enjoy the switching of both main characters points of views which I feel if they weren’t separated by chapters could have added more meat and potatoes to the story. Not sure if I will read the rest of the series cause I did learn to enjoy these characters so much !

Good read. unexpectedly relatable looking forward to reading more.

The exchanges that are anticipated from the beginning to end are handsomely complete while reading. No question about this book that entitles enhanced reading. Enjoy a great read!

This was a great storyline, but the profanity was too much. No need to include it to make a book great or worth reading.

I really enjoyed this story!! Verna and Joe were sparking off each other from the beginning . Glad to see growth in them both personally as it progressed intimately . The sexy bits very well done. Did not like her dad at all virtual strangers treated her better.

I started reading this book just to read something. Before I knew it, I was hooked. I stayed up late to finish reading even though I was sick. I HAD to finish reading it!! I would highly recommend this book!

I loved falling for Joe, as I read this heartfelt story of Verna's struggle with growing pains. A little bit of humor pulled me into this well written story and I couldn't put the book down. I finished it in one sitting, and can't wait to read more of Lydia Rowan's Stories! Thank you!

I've yet to figure out the point of the story. The writer seems to be keeping the full story of the characters to herself. It plods along with no real plot or tension between the characters. What conflict there is has no resolution. It was a slow, boring, pointless story.

This is a very good story. The characters will become your favorite people right away. If your like me you'll cry a few times, want to shake the parents of this wonderful woman,and you'll laugh and smile a lot. You will also root for Verne and Joe from beginning to end. Read this book it's worth the time. :)

Short and sweet read. I love when the H and h start off disliking each other.

Some inconsistencies & the story was just weak. The power goes out from the storm, but they take hot showers, eat & watch the news on the tv? But then it says that the power doesn't come back on for days? I understand if they have gas appliances and a gas water heater, but there's no explanation for the the tv. I guess Joe's house was the only one with power when they needed a shower & a quick news fix! And don't get me started on Joe and his actions after Verna's drunken confession. And the fact that he doesn't take her on an actual in public date. Just overall not believable and unable to connect with the characters.

Short and to the point without lacking a thing. Great read.
