5By Kimberly824I downloaded this book a few days ago and finally sat down to read it this morning. I finished it in one day. The suspense was spot on! The romance.. “icing” as Jaynee would say. I was pleasantly surprised it was tame and not graphic during the love scenes. Very refreshing. The storyline itself was wonderful. It truly does echo the sentiment there can be a glorious love after such a bad hand in life. I love that the characters were Christians as well. That isn’t a part of many storylines these days. Again..so refreshing! Now to download the next book in The Southern Collection! P.S.- I’m from North Carolina and love that it was home for the main characters! 🥰She belongs to me

Just when you are sure you know what will happen, you turn the “corner” and find you are headed in a totally different direction on a seemingly new city. Great characters as they are introduced and you see the strength and weakness of each one. Keeps you guessing and there will be more than one time where you will read a section and then go back to reread that same section to be sure you have it all straight in your mind. I recommend this book and it’s author in a very high level of satisfaction.
