Very approachable to the topic and interactive to read, thoroughly recommend

Great read and easy to understand. I used to find it difficult to understand the concepts in renal transplantation but this ebook made it so much easier to comprehend. It is possible for the readers to access videos, images, easy notes and flashcards to reinforce the concepts. It is a modern way to learn for medical students like me. It’s awesome, I highly recommend it. Laura Goldfarb.

I absolutely loved this book ! very comprehensive yet concise, straight to the point and easy to read ! I have enjoyed reading through it particularly on the renal transplant service , especially when I needed to read about something quickly ! The graphs, and particularly the slide videos, are very helpful to understand key testing in transplant nephrology like the flow cytometry crossmatch and others ! The book over all is very well supported with high quality graphs and images. The chapter on the allograft ultrasound is unique. I also loved the questions at the end of each chapter. I thinks this is the kind of book that every nephrology and transplant fellow has to obtain. I would like to thank Dr. Riella and the team for this great work !

As a nephrology trainee, this book is an excellent resource. It is comprehensive yet easy to comprehend. I particularly love the figures and the many references to key trials that guide management of transplant recipients. It’s my primary resource for transplant nephrology!

Coming into the field this was very useful for consolidating the many aspects involved in transplant medicine. The formation was very appropriate and intuitive. Would highly recommend!

A Great book for easy, concise yet comprehensive read. It covers all the broad topics essential to the field of kidney transplant from immunology, kidney USG, pathology to kidney transplant recipient and donor management. I found the visuals and self test questions at the end of chapters to be extremely helpful tools. A must read not only for renal fellows, IM residents, nurse practitioners interested in the field of kidney transplant but also a great way to brush up on transplant material for early career transplant faculty.

The book has an extremely interesting format! Using new educational tools, such as pictures, videos and quiz, makes reading enjoyable, and helps a lot in retaining content. I certainly recommend reading this book!

Good book

Things I liked: -Information well presented yet still concise enough for a fellow/resident/student to get through in a reasonable time. It took me maybe 10 days or so while reading ~25 pages per day. -If there is a topic you want to learn more about, the videos/presentations are a nice addition -I felt like the area I learned the most from and now feel much more confident in is immunology/immunosuppression/rejection -The ultrasound section was great. We get so little teaching on reading and even less on performing renal ultrasound. This is definitely a missing part of our education which your book helps fill. -I like the problem-based approach section to various post-transplant problems (elevated creatinine, proteinuria, failing graft, etc.). This comes up all the time on service and it was a nice way to practice thinking through different scenarios. Things that might be helpful to add: -I would like to learn more about the step by step process involved in the surgery itself. What is the step-by-step process, what things are the surgeons thinking about with the case, what are their concerns, etc. -I personally feel like I learn best from case-based scenarios. I know there are some there, but from my perspective the more the better as it helps tie everything together. -I’m sure how to incorporate this and may be more suitable for a different book, but I think it would be great to have something similar to the ultrasound section you have for transplant kidneys but more detailed on native kidneys and native kidney biopsies. Again this is a big hole in our teaching.
