I'm sorry. I wanted to like it but the writing was poor. The story started out well, but the character development was not well rounded.

I received an ARC eBook in exchange for an honest review. I absolutely loved Talon and Gretchen's story! Full of intrigue, drama, adventure and delicious passion as fated mates find each other. I highly recommend this book for all Shifter Romance fans!

This was a fun, fast paced book with lots of humor. The Alpha Sheriff, Talon, knows Gretchen is his fated mate, but she doesn't believe it. Even though she feels the pull towards him, she is determined to fight it and he is just as determined to convince her. Even though this is listed as the second book in the Huntsville series, it can stand on its own with a HEA. This was a great story and I would definitely recommend it. The heroine is a shifter who doesn't believe in fated mates mates. She has been at school and living among humans, and I never intends to take a mate at all. She gets a call about her dad being attacked and heads home. While dealing with the aftermath of the attack, she meets a shifter sheriff who believes she is his fated mate. He can't keep his hands to himself and she knees him, hits him, does what she canto make him stop wanting to kiss her. The story has mystery, danger, violence, romance, sex, and they end up together. They grow as people through the story. The writing is great, the world well developed and we learn about shifters who can't live in a pack. Very good. Gretchen rushes home after finding out her father has been severely beaten. The pack police chief and alpha are going by the book to help keep him safe. But time is running out and she takes matters into her own hands. She goes directly to sheriff Talon Garde, he is the only one who can catch the stray who continues to threaten her father and herself. He takes one look at her and recognizes she is his fated mate but Gretchen doesn't believe in love let alone fated mates. In an effort to keep her close and show her they are meant to be together they find themselves in real danger from some unexpected sources. Can they save each other and find out if they are truly meant for each other.

Love this series and this book was no exception. Lots of mystery, suspense and action, as well as sexual tension between Gretchen and Talon. Lots of laughs too as Gretchen fights the pull of "fated mates", although I doubt Talon thought they were funny. A beautiful story. Can't wait to read more.

Sassy, stubborn, and disillusioned! Our heroine has a lot to get over in a short period of time. Thank the moon that out hero is just as stubborn and believes in fated mates! Great story! I loved it from start to finish!

When she’s on her dream job interview and she get a call with pictures of her father brutally beaten and demands for money she goes running home. Calling in some pack members to check on her father. But the mystery of what money he owes is one not easily solved. Some leads say it may be rouge or lone shifters. That means it belongs to Sheriff Talon Garde district. One smell of Gretchen and Talon believes her to be his mate. But Gretchen doesn't believe in fated mates and never wants one after her mother took off when she was five. And things just get more interesting as you read more of the story. Well written self-contained story.

I received an eARC in exchange for an honest review. This was a wonderful book and it kept me totally captivated from the beginning to the very last page. Talon is the Sheriff of the strays were animals that have no packs due to a criminal past. He is sexy, strong, dominant and not looking for a mate. Gretchen is looking for help, her father is badly beaten by a stray and is told by her Alpha that once the Sheriff Talon gets the information he will contact her. She decides she does want to wait so she goes to Sheriff Talon' s town to get help sooner. What happens next will leave you unable to put the book down. The action never stops, this book has it all romance, life threatening danger, light humor, hot hot hot mating and last and the best an HEA! I highly recommend this book this author and this series to everyone who loves paranormal romances. I know you will love it as much as I did. Be sure to pick up a copy for yourself you will be very very glad that you did.

I just love Michelle's books and this one was no different. I loved the characters and especially the plot. The plot was different from your normal shifter books where this didn't focus on just the pack but on the ones kicked out of the pack and how they are handled. It does also have the love story we all love though so no disappointment there. Just an overall great book. Good job once again, Michelle. I was given an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.

I fell in love with the characters in this book, Gretchen especially. She is funny, headstrong, loving, and protective of her father. Alls she wants to do is cook and take care of her dad, then she meets Talon after a tragic event and things start to heat up whether she wants it to or not. Talon is also funny, but he is very set in his ways and following the law until Gretchen comes barging through his doors. He agrees to help her, but he wants things in return from her never expecting fate to get involved. Things go from crazy to hot throughout this whole story. Michelle Fox as always kept me at the seat of my chair wanting more. I received this book for an honest review.

I was given this gift of a book to read and review. Yes I am calling my ARC a gift because I appreciate this opportunity to read this masterpiece by Michelle Fox. The Alpha Justice is the second Bad Boy Alpha Books I absolutely adored reading this book. Brilliant! My hat off to these three authors this is a phenomenal idea. The storyline is awesome, exciting, compelling and a book that I can and will read again and again. The characters are strong, hunky, fabulous, excellent, engaging and magnetic. Michelle Fox is one of the greatest authors who writes with a gold pen. This is a all round well written story. Gretchen has dreamed of being a great chef. But in the middle of doing her interview she received a horrible text message. She has to rush back to her father because someone all most beats him to death. While she is at her father's home there is another phone call that threatening her life if the money father owes isn't paid to him. Gretchen decided to find out how and what her father owes to this person. When she finds receipts where her father had given thousands of dollars to a mystery person, she feels he must have been taken advantaged of, so ask the sheriff of her clan about what she found. Gretchen is told that it must go through the he pack leaders. But she thinks this takes to long and decided to take the material to the other sheriff for help. Sheriff Talon has had a long night with little sleep and while he is eating what he calls breakfast doughnuts and a latte. Talon gets a whiff of some the delicious scent and looks up from his breakfast and the smell is coming Gretchen. Talon doesn't want to be helpful, but he feels a instant attraction to Gretchen that lets him know that he has found his fated mate. But Gretchen doesn't believe in fated mates.Talon knows she is the only one for him and he can barely control his being possessive and his sexual desire for her. The reason Gretchen doesn't believe in fated mates is because her mother who leaves Gretchen and her dad. Talon decided to get Gretchen to stay close to him hoping that the mating pull will make her want him. The dialogue and pace of this storyline is great it's suspenseful, steamy and HOT and you can't put it down, I was hooked this story from the beginning of the book. Michelle sex scenes are always the best it's Burning HOT and well written. This is the second Bad Boy Alpha book that is Excellent Magnificent Shifter Romance You will Absolutely Love All Three!!! So Don't Miss A One!!! This is as all three are Worth Reading!!! I Know I did!!! I rated this book Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️and Four Flames 🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!

I loved this book it has everything in it strong leading ladys and even stronger men, it has twist that you just don't see coming I can not wait for what's next for this pack.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This story is about Gretchen and Talon and their separate and shared journeys towards their HEA. Gretchen has left her pack to attend culinary school. She is extremely close to her dad, and respects her pack, however she doesn’t believe in “fated mates” or staying close to the safety of the pack. She is interested in a chef position a few hours away from her home and is interviewing when the story opens. And then life happens. Talon is the sheriff and oversees the “strays” in the area near the “big city”. Gretchen’s dad is in a bit of trouble and she heads out to meet Talon and find out, for herself, what happened. When Talon and Gretchen meet, their wolves take it upon themselves to nudge these two into a relationship – a “fated” one. The first line of the blurb describing the book is hilarious: “What’s an alpha to do when he’s found his fated mate, but she reacts to the news by kicking him in the b@lls?” Both Gretchen and Talon have to work thru issues and the problems with her dad in order to get together. I loved Talon, sometimes clueless, most of the time kind and thoughtful. Okay, and Ms. Fox wrote him as hawt. Gretchen is very conflicted and her internal journey is pretty rough. In the end, I truly enjoyed their story. Great job, Ms. Fox!

The Alpha's Justice was a joy to read. I love the sassiness of the story line; Gretchen was able to hold her own and then some! But who don't want a bad boy to save them, especially one of Talon's caliber. I love the banner between these two. No spoilers, but this one will have you in tears laughing, have your heart thumping in suspense, and give you that nice 'Awh' gushiness in the end that we all hope for.

Michelle Fox is one of the best authors in shifter romances and I wasn't disappointed with this one. Gretchen is a were shifter who abandons her culinary dreams to take care of her father after he is nearly beaten to death. She receives a phone call threatening the same to happen to her if the caller doesn't get the money he owes. Why her father owes anyone money is a mystery and he isn't in good enough shape to talk about it. Gretchen asks her pack leaders to help but ultimately she realizes she needs to take matters into her own hands. She ends up asking a nearby sheriff named Talon (also a were shifter) for help. At first he isn't in a very helpful mood, but after he's in the same room with her he knows he can't let her go. He feels an instant attraction to her that can only be described as having found his destined/fated mate. He knows she's the one for him and can barely control his possessive and sexual urges when she's around. Gretchen has reasons from her past to not believe in fated mates or destiny or even love. Talon has his work cut out for him if he wants to be with Gretchen and save her pack from the trouble that's occurring. Since this is a suspense novel as well as a steamy romance, I'm not going to go into the plot. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time just waiting to see what would happen next. I will tell you that the sex is hot, and well written. So you can look forward to that along with a twisting plot line. All of it combines into an excellent shifter romance worth your notice to read.

Loved reading this book the characters where interesting and it was easy to fall into this one

Gretchen is in the middle of in interview when she gets a life changing text, her dad has been beaten within an inch of his life, and unless Gretchen comes up with a ton of money she's next! Since her alpha was taking his sweet time looking into the matter, she decides to talk to the Sherriff, and gets a shock to her system when he claims she's his mate. How does a girl go about telling someone she doesn't believe in the whole mate thing? She knees him in the balls! Lol This was a great book that had me laughing at Gretchens actions numerous times.
