Amazing book, can’t wait for the next
5By PatrickBmoreI’m overwhelmed by A Plague of Giants and am re-reading it for the third time. Kevin Hearne has been masterful in conjuring up a new world with a wide variety of interesting characters, presenting each individual with their own unique viewpoint and with a masterful literary device allowing us to hear them all in their voice while keeping the story progressing logically. As sad as I was to see the end of the Iron Druid series, I’m thrilled that there will be a few stories about the people of the kennings. I can’t wait to introduce this book to friends and family and to hear the full audiobook.Loved it. Sucked me in, made me want to read
5By Livermore-DadI’m usually too busy with other things to pick up a book , and since finishing the iron druid series there was quite a break from reading. I didn’t jump into this right away (remember busy), but when I found sometime and started , I spent all my down time reading ( not necessarily only In the bathroom , but laying in bed at night/early morn, or waiting to pick up my son from Water polo etc (downtime). Although it seems like this could have been finished off in this book vs needing another $16 for a copy of a book. Shrug I enjoy the author he needs to eat ( well to be honest., Well crafted characters trapped by a cumbersome style
2By jlwatts1I have enjoyed Kevin Hearne’s Iron Druid tales immensely and was intrigued by a new story from him. I appreciate that the author attempted to tell the story through a bard rather than directly from the characters but felt that it failed to properly introduce the reader to the key characters. I am on the fence as to whether I will read the next book in the series as it takes some effort to trudge through a book written in this style.Leaps and Bounds
5By NarcysDopeWhen I first started reading A Plague of Giants, I wasn't sure what to expect. Being a great fan of Kevin Hearne and his Iron Druid series I was expecting action, wit and emotion. Sure enough, I was blown away with how much more of that was put into this one book. I had laugh out loud moments. Moments of borderline tears and shock and action that made me wishing for more. He has made such a complete and full world inside of one book that I cannot wait to see what he has in store for next time. Please do yourself a favor and pick up this book.Can’t wait to see more of this world

4By Lisa BatemanGosh, this is a hard review to write. I had a hard time deciding on how many stars. I won’t say it’s a bad read. I feel like it depends on what kind of reading mood I’m in. If you’re looking for a fast read where you don’t have to think, this isn’t it. The author builds a huge and wonderful complex story. I feel like there will be some wonderful books in this world , especially after the world building. This author has some really amazing ideas and is a genius at thinking this stuff up. It is more of a serious read than his other series. I think it will be one of those epic tales that will always be remembered through the ages. **I was given a copy from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. **
