This series keeps getting better. Highly recommend. Oberon is the bomb.

One part Tolkien, a bit of King and Koontz, but ALL original! Great plots with characters that continue to reveal layers of complexity. Introducing different POVs with seamless integration... Most of all, this writer knows how to tell a story Thank you!!

One of the best books I've ever read.

As with all of his books that I have read thus far....excellent, tongue in cheek humor with an intellectual overlap into the various pantheons of gods and goddesses throughout the world. Mr. Hearne seamlessly blends modern culture with ancient myth.....his books are a must read for lovers of fantasy and adventure alike....I quickly chew up any and all offerings by this author.....and the character interaction between he and his cohort (not to mention that wonderful hound) oh now it will be hounds.....hoorah!!!!! All of these books were awesome! Any author who can make me laugh or cry out loud so that my husband looks at me funny is truly gifted. I highly recommend that you read all of these!

Very well written, literate series - incorporates myth with a modern sensibility. Believable characters. Also, makes me want to get a wolfhound.

I been reading every book this guy makes and it's hard not to be impressed with the way he writes his books. Of all the ideas and possibilities, these book has the best, I can't wait to read more of his works
