3By Lenchik007This is my favorite author and I love many of her books!!! But this one was a miss for me. The 1st chapter started off interesting and that's it. In fact their relationship in the previous book was much more interesting to read then in this book. It felt very much like a lesson in history than a love story. Not enough time spent on the couple. There were no moments that touched my heart. I still love Lisa Kleypas and will continue to read anything she writes.Marrying Winterborne

This book was interesting, insightful, fun, sweet,humorous and yes romantic...the kind of book that has you grumbling because you know the next book won't be available for awhile and you'll have to read a bunch of fluff in the meantime. I'm an avid reader and I fully enjoyed this book, I'm sure you will too. Lisa Kleypas is an exceptional writer with class and not crass! ( you know how some romance writers can be, TMI...good grief !). My only words of advise to Lisa would be......"Write FASTER".........Not her best
