Description

Dalton Black never thought he'd find his true mate. His dark past convinced him that he could never be worthy of one, but the Great Luna did not agree. She saw fit to give him a gypsy healer, the purest of heart among their kind. And now that he's finally found her, she slips through his grasp and into the hands of Volcan, a corrupt high fae driven mad by his own need for power. Now Dalton, with help from his own powerful friends, must find Jewel and rescue her before Volcan can use her blood to create witches and once again throw off the balance of good and evil.
As their journey begins, Perizada will once again lead a group of wolves on a hunt to bring down evil, but little do they know that Volcan is just a drop of blood in the sea of supernatural beings about to darken their path.

This is book 3 in The Gypsy Healer series must be read in order to fully enjoy. It’s full of laughter and suspense. Couldn’t put the book down. I loved all the characters and can’t wait to read more about all of them.

Another amazing story comprised with heartache, character growth and entertaining humor. The plot is getting much darker having a perfect balance of the signature romance and innocence of the series, but also feeling repetitive with character developments. Always appreciative of the different points of views makes the journey more personal and consuming. Excited for the next book the suspense of waiting is pure torture but always worth it.

The characters of the gypsy healers are not flushed out and continued. It is difficult to keep up with which werewolf is supposed to be mated with which healer. Several of the healers and werewolves are left in the pixie realm for no reason for a long time doing nothing which is boring for the reader. It feels like the writer is tired of this story and doesn't know how to end it so it is very disappointing.

I would like to state first and foremost, that I love all of Quinn's work. I have purchased and read all the books she has released. Her styles draws me in, creates the right amount of intensity to keep me interested, and all the lose ends are (mostly) tied by the end of the book, which I love. For this book, in this particular series, I'm not going to lie, I was flat out disappointed. I felt that there were a lot of unfinished plot developments in this book. I just found myself getting frustrated as I kept reading due to unresolved conflict. I also felt that a lot of the conversations were "filler conversations" that didn't flow with what I felt was the overall theme and often times I felt like the portion I was reading was repetitive. I found myself double checking the pages to make sure I hadn't, accidentally, went back a chapter or two. I also found myself constantly skimming trying to find the point of the section or to hopefully come across a resolve to the many plot conflicts created--which disappointedly did not happen. Regardless, I will be eagerly looking forward to the next book in this series (which will hopefully come out soon) and hopefully that book will help put me to ease.

I've read all the books of the grey wolf series and enjoyed every single one of them. However the gypsy healer series hasn't been much of an enjoyment for me. I loved the fist part of Jewel and Dalton story but reading this book and still nothing changes. I mean hundreds of pages of nothingness???! I thought they were going to find a happily ever after and then move on to the next characters but this book was full of monologue, endless rants, introductions of new characters and not one character solved a problem! Not sure if I will continue reading this series. I found myself flipping pages to see how much longer for something good to actually happen. I'm very disappointed of what this series has become.
