Perfekt Control (The Ære Saga Book 2)

Perfect Control is the second book in the AEre Saga, and what a saga it is. Henrik and Brynn are the bodyguards of Tyr the god of war and his girlfriend, human Mia Ahlstrom, we learned about them in Perfekt Order, book 1. ST Bende continues to draw us into her Relms. The book is exciting, it's sweet and it's an adventure. You travel with "Brynrik" into several relms, you feel like you are part of their effort to save the Goddess of Love before the world is impacted adversly. I really enjoyed getting to know Hottie Henrik, hunkie nerd & Brynn Valkyrie, smart, sweet and she can kick some serious tush (as Mia would say). I don't want to say too much, READ THIS Story, you will love it as much as I do. This book gave me everything i was looking for and more. I even got the beginning of a HEA.

Perfekt Control exceeded all of my expectations. I absolutely loved it. This exceptional story is Brynn's point of view and takes place right after Perfekt Order. Perfekt Control . They are my favorite couple don't get me wrong I love Tyr and Mia. Perfekt Control was so emotional from feeling tense to find out what happens next to happy at what happens throughout the book. In this story we got to really know who Brynn is and why she is the way she is. She thoroughly enjoys scientific toys and making them with Henrik and Mia. Brynn goes on a mission to get Freya back the goddess of love. She was taken and could put the world out of love. That could cause a lot of damage for everyone. In all the realms Brynn and Henrik traveled to whichever ones that could give them answers on where Freya was taken. They never dreamed that the realm that she was taken to is the last one they ever wanted to go to. Along the way they battled giants that breathed fire to dragons. Everything seemed to be out of balance and they aimed to set everything right again once they found Freya and returned her to the good side. There were so many emotions that went along with this story of Brynn and Henrik. It was an amazing and well written story. An added bonus was Henrik's Hotcakes recipe. Can't wait to try the recipe S.T. Bende. Thank you for another great story and can't wait to read more.

As a Valkyrie, Brynn is tasked to protect the God of War, Tyr. Henrik is Tyr's other bodyguard and the three of them have been friends for years. Her crush for Henrik has been for just as long, but she must maintain her perfekt control to rise within the Valkyrie ranks and protect the Realms. Unknown forces abducted the Goddess of Love and Brynn and Henrik are tasked ti find out who and where, all before the Realms descend into chaos. Brynn has a major crush on Henrik but she cannot give in to any of those feelings if she is to keep her position and advance in the Valkyries. Henrik seems to be oblivious to her feelings and causes Brynn heartache. She is also avoiding her past, the present is a huge battle, and all is weighing heavily on her. I love Brynn and Henrik and read about their interactions previously. SO awesome to read their story now and get to know each one a little more in depth. Brynn's inner dialogue is intense and I love how fragile and strong she is wrapped in one beautiful package. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

The best word to describe ST Bende’s Ære Saga book 2 is: PERFEKT! I thoroughly enjoyed book 1, Perfekt Order, but honestly, for me, Perfekt Control is realms beyond its predecessor. I read it in 2 days and promptly added it to my Favorites Shelf. In book 2, we again get to see Mia and her hunky Norse God of War, Tyr, but this time from the POV of his perky Valkyrie bodyguard, Brynn. However, being privy to Brynn’s thoughts shows that behind her bubbly exterior she locks her true feelings in a black box—her fear, grief, guilt, and secret love for bodyguard partner hottie Henrik Andersson. She prides herself on this Control. In a perfekt analogy, Brynn and Henrik have to follow a dangerous trail across the realms, determine the masterminds behind the capture of goddess of love Freya, and ultimately fight for the freedom of Love. I laughed, cried (some good tears too, don’t worry!), swooned, fumed, shook my kindle, sighed, and totally grinned like a loony at the science-nerdy and Norse-myth-geeky references ST peppered throughout the heart-gripping romance and exciting action. This is my favorite ST Bende book yet, and any fan of YA, NA, romance, norse mythology and fantastical action will love this book! ***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review***

*****The author provided a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.***** Just about perfekt, so I’m giving it five stars. If you loved Perfekt Order, you will most likely love Perfekt Control. It’s got the same great characters and the same non-stop action. The biggest difference is that there is not quite as much romance, but when it’s there, it’s incredible. Plot: When Freya goes missing, and Odin forces Tyr to sit out of her rescue mission, Brynn and Henrik are tasked with finding the missing goddess. As they travel from world to world, the pair faces giants, dragons and demons, but none of those things frighten Brynn as much as a future without Henrik. Characters: In Perfekt Order, Mia and Tyr were undoubtedly awesome, but to me, the real standouts were Brynn and Henrik. Brynn is spunky and fun-loving, but she’s also incredibly strong and brave. Like Brynn, Henrik is strong and brave, but he’s also super smart, mechanically inclined, and very funny. Even though both characters are great on their own, their scenes together are so sweet that you can’t help but root for them to get together. Mia, Tyr, Elsa and Forse are still around, and we get to see how Mia is adjusting to the new world she has entered. (Side note: Tyr is more sweet than cocky in this book, but he continues to be the strong, protective god that we have come to know and love.) Freya (the goddess of love) obviously isn’t around as much, but even in her absence, she makes a huge impact on the story. Tyr’s biological father continues to be a behind the scenes threat, but the primary villain in this book is Hel. She is much crueler than Fenrir was, and she is much harder to sympathize with, especially when we find out the motive behind her actions. Writing: Like Perfekt Order, Perfekt Control was very easy to read. The story is compelling, the action is non-stop, and the book is very well edited. There were a couple of paragraphs I wish had been shorter, but there was really nothing else to complain about. Bende did such an incredible job of combining mythology and imagery that readers can actually visualize the world she created and feel like they are part of it. There is some cursing (a lot of it in Swedish), a ton of violence, and a smidge of sexual tension, so if the book were a movie, I’d probably rate it PG-13. Bottom Line: Perfekt Control is another great entry in what is shaping up to be a phenomenal series. It’s one of those books that you think about even when you’re not reading it. I was so anxious to pick it up each night that I sped right through it. Now I am forced to wait (impatiently) for the sequel. Most of the problems in Perfekt Control are resolved by the end of the book, but the story is continued in Perfekt Balance, which focuses on the relationship between Elsa and Forse.

The book is about Brynn and Henrik or as everyone loves to call them "Brynnrik". Brynn is such an amazing character and getting a deeper look into who she is was a great experience. She loved him for six hundred years and her feeling for him never change! Been there done that!!  Henrik is the Perfekt book boyfriend. He is incredibly good-looking, sexy, really smart, fun, caring and can cook anything. What else could you possible want in a guy? S.T. Bende has done it again. I love the process of the love story. I love how she builds the characters, the adventure and the romance. I cannot wait for the next book. P.S. I am going to try the Hotcakes!

I got an arc of this book for an honest review. 3 words to describe Perfekt Control Fabulous Perfekt and Amazing. Perfekt Control Brynnrik's book will leave you breathless. It has action adventure romance twists and turns, everything a person could want in a book. S.t. Bende never fails to amaze me with her books and she has a knack for writing a story that makes you fall in love with everyword you read and not want to put it down, and when you actually finish the book you want to cry because its over. Brynn, Hennrik are the Perfekt Couple and I was very happy to read their story that ending was so sweet that I was crying I was so happy. I cant wait for the next couple to show up and fall in love with St Bende writing all over again.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is absolutely the best book S.T. Bende has written to date. The story is well written and the characters come to life with each word. I experienced the whole gamut of emotions as I read Perfekt Control. I laughed, cried, swooned, and wanted to throw my iPad all while I couldn't put the book down. While getting a glimpse of Mia and Tyr, the main focus is the relationship between Brynn and Henrik. *Sigh* I can't get enough Brynnik. I can not wait until the next book comes out. I need more Norse mythology in my everyday life.

Of course we also get to read just how madly in love she is with Henrick! Boy did this book have so much happen. It was like an emotional roller coaster. In the end we get the best happily ever after! I loved this book! I seriously think this is the best book S.T has wrote yet! I loved reading about all the different realms. I also loved being in Byrnn's head! She is freaking hilarious! I can't get over it. I loved loved loved loved the ending. I'm so happy! Thank you for another amazing story S.T.!

Once again S.T. Bende delivers! This book is absolutely Perfekt! With each book it just keeps getting better and better. I love how Brynn who's a tough valkyrie who deals with her lifelong crush of Henrik and learn to give up her control to gain what she most desires.
