Description

Inga Andersson just can’t catch a break. She’s supposed to be enjoying a ski week in beautiful Åre, Sweden, with her immortal-assassin husband. Instead, she and Gunnar are trapped inside a bizarre scavenger hunt, unraveling an incomprehensible riddle at the bequest of a mysterious being. And if Inga and Gunnar don’t decipher the puzzle and deliver a mythological relic to a New Orleans graveyard within three days, they’ll be ejected from the Norse pantheon, stripped of their immortality, and cast as the solitary line of defense against the onslaught of frost giants and Helbeasts ready to bring about Midgard’s fall. What started as a party game has become a lethal challenge with irreparable consequences, not only for Inga, but for the god she loves . . . and the realm she adores.

Let the hunt begin.

I was given an ARC for an honest review of The Asgardian. I loved it. It was witty and full of action. I found myself laughing out loud at the brothers. The girls were cool too. (LOL) I wish I could fight like that. Reading it was a pleasure and I miss them when I completed the story. It has been a great start into a new world of characters that have depth and morals. I am excited to see what S.T. releases next. If its anything like the last couple of books hang on for the ride.

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. Inga and Gunnar are on a needed vacation in Sweden until they received a message from the Norn. They must decipher the riddle and complete the task in less than three days or remain in Midgard and stripped of their immortality. Don't forget the rest of the supernatural world relying on them to stop evil from taking over. I absolutely love Inga and Gunnar and am so very glad we are able to read about them in another story. This also fits nicely in the Elsker Saga timeline. Gunnar is funner!

Wow, just when i think S.T. Bende cannot possibly surprise me, she does it again. As part of the larger Supernatural Chronicles saga, because it really is a saga. This book brings back Inga & Gunnar Andersson. We get a little peak at their youth the three friends Ull, Gunnar and Inga. Sometimes it's not easy to be a Norse God. I cannot get enough of this group of Gods, family and friends. There are laugh out loud moments when Brynn is thinking about keeping ice bears as pets. How ST Bende takes such a tense moment and makes me laugh is beyond me. I could go on all night, there are so many unique and wonderful/funny/scary moments in this book. Five well earned stars. I can only say, buy it. Read it. You will love it.

This novella was provided to me as an ARC in return for a fair review. Great quick read. Inga , Gunnar, Henrick and Brynn are on vacation in Sweden when a mysterious magical glitter ball appears, with a mission to acquire a relic and deliver it to a cemetery in New Orleans . Will they survive the mission or will a old enemy rear his ugly head. I am so in love with these Norse Gods!!! They have become like old friends to me. I cant wait for the series to continue!!!! Highly recommend !!! Can't wait for the story to continue!

Wow – my favorite of her books so far! Really fast paced - which I loved, lots of action, no fluff, a few laughs, a few worrying moments, and even a little bit of back story. It’s all based on 4 characters you know – Inga, Gunner, Henrik and Brynn, so there wasn’t any time spent on getting to know them, instead ST Bende jumps right into the action and it’s go, go, go until the last word. I was gripped from the first line and had real trouble putting it down to get some work done. It’s a standalone story, so it works even if you’ve yet to read ST Bende’s other books (FYI - you’ll be hooked after this one…) Just so you know, I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review (and I so can’t wait to read the next one!)

**I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review** The Asgardians is a crossover novella that features some of our favorite characters from the Elsker Series and the new Aere Series. This is a fast paced, buckle your seat belts, and hold on to the bar adventure that showcases Inga, Gunnar (from the Elsker Series), Brynn and Henrik (from the new Aere series). While serving as a part of the Dynamis in New Orleans Series, The Asgardians offers a quick look at Inga and Gunnar's relationship before marriage, Brynn's unique way of thinking, and the extent they all will go to protect Midgard. I highly recommend this new journey into Norse mythology.

I was lucky to receive this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Another great story by S.T. Bende – Supernatural Chronicles: “The Asgardians” is about Inga and her friends as they are given a task by Norns in order to save their immortality and to save the Midgard (Earth) from falling. From the very beginning this book sucked me in with an exciting ride of action, adventure, revenge, deep love, and loyalty. I loved reading about Inga and Gunner (who is definitely more funner) in this story. They have such an amazing relationship and chemistry. It’s great how they have each other’s backs and the love they share runs deep. Inga is a strong, brave woman and a great role model. Gunner is swoon worthy, supportive and protective of those he loves. One of the traits Gunner has that you don’t always see in books is his ability to support Inga and help her accomplish whatever task she needs to do even if it puts her in danger. He doesn’t hold her back even though he wants her to be protected. Brynn and Henrik are some of my favorite supporting characters. I am such a huge fan of those two. Brynn and Henrik added a lot to this story as they work together with Inga and Gunner. The Asgardians is a thrilling and quick read and definitely a story you don’t want to miss.
  • Great Addition to the Elsker/Aere Saga!

I thoroughly enjoyed this novella! It was fast paced, with plenty of action and a bit of romance! I loved seeing Brynnik (Brynn and Henrik from the Aere series), Elsa, Inga and Gunnar from the Elsker saga! Once again, ST Bende's writing has the reader visualizing themselves alongside the characters and not many authors can do this. I can't wait for the next book to reach my hands! Received an ARC for an honest review.

What an exciting adventure!! This books has some of my favorite characters from previous S.T books - we get Gunnar and Inga and Brynn and Henrik - it was really fun to see the Andersson brothers interact with each other. This is an action packed thrill ride that kept me on the edge of my seat! I loved this installment and enjoyed the crossover between S.t.'s two series!

This novella is one of the most action packed ones I've ever read! I couldn't put it down and I was completely drawn in from the first chapter. You get to go back and visit younger versions of your favorite characters and learn more about who they are and how they became that way. There's even cute polar bears to play with! Great addition to the Dynamis collection and I can't wait to read more from S.T. Bende!!!
