Determined to escape her captors—including a monster who’s vowed never to let her leave England alive—and to survive the impossible journey of a thousand miles through the harsh Welsh wilderness, Sarah uses every resource she has to find her way home again. Going Gone is an adventure tale of heart-stopping proportion showing the resiliency of the human spirit and the unfathomable depths of a mother’s love.
Reviews
Whimsical, page-turning adventure
4By AshcatsupWhen I down loaded the first book in the series, I had low expectations. Most free downloads do not hold my interest, however, The Irish End Games have kept my interest and here I am downloading the third. Susan creates excellent imagery with every sentence, compelling one to continue reading to know what happens next. The suspense of Sarah's adventure and hardship in Going Gone has me excited to see what lies ahead for Sarah and her new found family. I definitely recommend the book to readers of all ages. They are fairly easy reads (as I've finished the two first books in a matter of days) and worth the $4/book from the second book on. If you enjoy suspense, post apocalyptic fiction, then this series is for you. Thank you Susan for sharing your creative story with the world and I cannot wait to read more of you're writing. -Ash
