I read it as a paperback, of course, and, while it’s not her best book, I really enjoyed taking this suspenseful cruise with Mary Higgins Clark! It’s the first book I’ve read that featured such involvement from her famous husband-and-wife team of sleuths, Alvirah and Willy. I liked this charming couple more than I thought I would, but the story’s main female character was the real attraction for me. An intriguing, unpredictable mystery from the Queen of Suspense!A Scooby-Doo-like story

1By CAmcrapThis is the first time I have been disappointed in a MHC book- I read it in one afternoon - and I just didn't like it. This might be because I had just finished Zoo Keeper's Wife which is really well written - but Mary Higgins Clark failed on this one. I was looking forward to a quick light read - this was that, and pretty stupid to boot!All by myself alone
