Great book. My favorite series by this author. Please write more. Want to know what happens between Litzy and Dalton.

Right from the beginning, I couldn’t stop reading. It has mystery, adventure, violence and romance but all in good taste.

This is a well written book with plenty of intrigue. I only gave it 3 stars because it doesn’t wrap up in the first book. I enjoy stories where characters continue into the next book, but the story itself need to wrap up nicely for me to give 5 stars.

I love her other series but this one was really hard to put down! Mystery, intrigue, good backstory and can't wait to continue the journey.

Really enjoyed this book. Intriguing to say the least.

Her books are always good, for the plots and characters. The beginning of this series, is first rate, and as a series, the characters will be even more known to us. Her father was drawn back into a web of what, his body, when he returned, showed it wasn't an easy job, wherever he was at. Leaving a message for his daughter. As she unravels, the deeper, she is caught in their lies. Looking forward to the next story in this series. Readers will not be disappointed in this, and will definitely enjoy.

This was the second time I have read this book. It was just as captivating as the first. Going to start on # 2&3. Love All of Ms. Brooks writing.

I typically love all Kathleen Brooks's books, but this one is so slow. I've never not finished one in few days, but I've been reading this one for weeks. Just super slow and kind of boring. I hope the next one in this series is much better with more romance.

Suspense, adventure, romance.

I really enjoyed this new book. I liked the new characters and enjoyed the story line. It was a little hard at times to keep track of the characters and their involvement but also was so suspenseful. Looking forward to the next book, hoping to find out the rest of the bad terrorists and their leader!

Once again, Kathleen, has captured the attention of her readers. Her stories are heartfelt and the characters take on life that reaches out to you and draws you in. You want more and more. I love this new storyline she has started. It is suspenseful, intriguing, and at the same time keeps you rooting for the good guys. I love how she includes relationships and watching them prosper. How her characters support each other even in the toughest times and the saddest. She is awesome. I cannot wait for the next book, "Rogue Lies". I know she will keep me enthralled.

I always love Kathleen Brooks' characters. You can always picture them clearly in your mind as you read. I can't wait for the sequel!

OMG, that was intense. I could barely breathe some of the times. This storyline makes you wonder what's going on and who you can trust. I keep wanting to think that the trader is Sebastian but it can't be because he would be working against himself. Who can it be? Elizabeth and Dalton should stay together. Is it Crew? I hope not but he is the only other person close to the president other than Humphrey and I doubt him because he assembled the team together. Oh well....to be continued...can't wait.

An amazing beginning of a new series that had me hooked from the start! Much darker and mysterious than the bluegrass series as there are few known villains in it so far and danger everywhere but there are the quirky characters that will have you laughing out loud too. I was holding my breath through many pages! I am anxiously awaiting book 2 and Kathleen Brooks doesn't leaving you waiting for years like some writers! I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed!! Check out her other books too!
