Description

He knows just how to make her forget her fear of flying… a sexy new story from USA TODAY bestselling author Jennifer Blackwood....

As an Air Marshal, I have two rules: keep everyone safe and always remain professional. But when I take a seat next to the hot blonde in 7B, I can only promise one of those things.

Abby Winters and her uptight librarian attire are more than a little distracting. And when she grabs onto me during turbulence—all bets are off.

A mile-high hookup is great, but what happens when we land and neither of us wants to walk away...

OMG! Loved this sexy and entertaining story! This is my first book by Jennifer Blackwood and it definitely will not be my last. This story was a great mixture of laugh out loud funny, as well as having some serious heat. The characters were relatable and had an instant attraction with some sizzling chemistry. It captured my attention from the beginning to the end and I could not put this down. When an uptight, OCD, location set scout with a fear of flying meets a hot, dirty talking Air Marshall on a flight to NYC, flying might never be the same again for them both. With sizzling chemistry that leads to a sizzling one night stand that soon turned into a two nighter when they are stranded in a blizzard in New York together. But after their bodies connect over and over on the deepest of levels what will become of them after they go their separate ways. You do not want to miss out on this ending or this fantastic story! Seriously get this story now you will not be disappointed. Loved it! Highly Recommended! Received an ARC through NetGalley and voluntarily agreed to post a honest review.
  • Hot Couple, Great Humor

    > > Judging a Book by it's Cover < < Blue filter over cover of couple in state of partial undress. Synopsis sounds like it would be a quick, fun & dirty ride. > > Looking Deeper < < Ms Blackwood has a brand of humor that is truly and completely enjoyable; I'd forgotten how fun her stories are to read! Abby and Gage are both workaholics that travel extensively and reside on opposite coasts, she working in Hollywood and he as an Air Marshal. She's too busy trying to prove herself for an upcoming promotion. He's taking on extra shifts to help his sister raise her daughter. Neither have time for a relationship. When a bumpy ride throws these two together, then snows them in to extend their stay, even the raging blizzard outside is no match for the inferno they ignite in one another. The characters were strong and independent, well-developed. Their chemistry was scorching hot. Compatibility was lacking some substance. A few minor cameos from secondary characters added a little filler to the plot. Dialogue and interaction was very good. The plot itself was more of a sweet nectar as opposed to a rich and full-bodied indulgement. Story moved along at a nice pace and was written very well, making it extremely easy to read. There were some minor conflicts presented, but none were really truly resolved - location being a big one. There were no surprises and predictability was not an issue at all. There's a "flash-forward" type epilogue that provides the desired HEA, however (again), some things are never fully addressed. . Landing the Air Marshal by Jennifer Blackwood is the first book in her Snowpocalypse series. It is a quick read, but not too quick, that is told from dual POV's and focuses on Abby, a California Set scout and Gage, a South Carolina Air Marshal. When they end up seated next to each other on a first class flight from LA to New York the heat ramps up big time. A sweet story with lots of steam and well-developed characters. You will find yourself rooting for them that their one-nights stand will become more even as all signs start to point to impossible. A pleasure to read from start to finish. Excited to see which of the background characters could be next.

Loved, loved, loved! It's panty melting hot and funny, with a yummy dirty talking air marshal to keep things lively. Abby with her fear of flying and hilarious inner dialogues made her one of the most entertaining female characters I've seen in a while. The chemistry between Abby and Gage is off the charts. These two being snowbound for the weekend could lead to some very interesting times!! This is one you don't want to miss. I highly recommend it.
