Aidan Thorne has been a mystery man for the LCR Elite series. You knew he had a backstory, and you knew he was a protector because of it. She is gracious, understanding and everything Aidan knew he needed but couldn't have. Cue the explosive situation they find themselves in together. Not just once, but twice, and they trusted each other to be there. It wasn't a HE-MAN/ SHE-WEAK relationship, nor a SHE-BAD/ HE-CLUELESS one. It was an honest give and take, based on trust and belief in the other to do what needed to be done. Even with the heaviness of each of their pasts, they both knew love had found them and would work together to keep it. Christy Reece has created some of the most heroic characters and some of the most vile villains and she continues that with Running Wild! Just when you take a breath, think you know where it's headed, BAM! Another twist you just didn't see coming! And every time, it just makes you fall a little more in love with Aidan and Anna, not to mention continuing to love and appreciate the LCR family. By the end, emotions are high, tears are flowing and I was desperately trying to figure out how to wait for the next story from her!!!!
