4By GreyGirl50Ally Bloom and Ethan Case are a match made in heaven, but she's determined to concentrate on loving herself before she can even think about loving someone else. Ethan has always wanted just one thing; a family of his own and that's just what Ally secretly longs for too. This is a well written and upbeat storyline that was entertaining as well as engaging because how could you not love these two characters whose chemistry is off the charts, but their communication sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. Men are from Mars and women are from Venus, but once Ally and Ethan get on the same page, that's when the magic happens. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my unsolicited and voluntary review are completely my own.Fabulous!

5By Lnn20122Another winner from Kylie Gilmore. I am a huge fan of the Happy Ending Book Club series. The characters are easy to relate too. You can’t help but love them all. This book has the same Kylie Gilmore humor but this time it is wrapped up in a little more emotion. This one had me crying in laughter and crying because of the heart-felt story line. Ethan was one of Eastman’s finest. He did his job well and in his spare time he would explore the great outdoors and hanging out with his honorary family. Despite being close to them, he had always longed for his own family. He had a stable foster mom and was an honorary brother and son of the Campbell clan but he still longed to have blood relations of his own. Ally was a woman holding onto a dream. Getting ready for her big college reunion. Her main goal get the one who she thought that got away back. But the sparks that she thought would fly turned out to be smoldering embers. Devastated she went into the less crowded men’s restroom to shed her tears of disappointment and shame only to be met with Ethan. Through his tough cop exterior lie a big soft heart. Especially for Ally. The ebb and flow of their relationship is what made this an entertaining read. The message that one has to first love themselves before they can truly love others was different and refreshing. I liked that they handled their battles on their own and in the end it was what made them stronger together and able to enter the relationship with an open heart.Hopeful romantic

Ally a hopeful romantic who attends her college reunion in hopes to rekindle her college love. Ethan is at the reunion supporting his partner from the police department, he finds Ally in the men’s bathroom crying about her ex and her build up of her hopes of the reunion. Ethan and Ally know each other from friends and the Happy Ending Book Club. I really enjoyed the interplay of the friends in the Happy Endings Book Club and how they go all out to support each other. I love how Kylie Gilmore writes their story it is witty, sincere, romantic and emotional. I highly recommend reading Mess With Me and all the Happy Endings Book Club books by Kylie Gilmore. He’s so refreshingly different from so many heroes these days in that he is NOT the typical “I’m a playboy and ain’t no one gonna tie me down,” but rather “I am ready and really wanting someone to settle down and spend my life with.” Oh and he’s a hot cop. So...yay Ethan!!! Ally was a riot! I liked that she didn’t mind dirty humor and that she made a hardcore effort to care for herself first after suffering heartbreak. This series is so fun to read, and OH MY GOSH I can’t wait for Josh and Hailey’s story! I’ve been given bits and pieces throughout the series, and things just got REALLY interesting!!! 4By Reading by the Book BlogThere was water on my face. Who would have thought that Ethan held so much dark emotion within himself. Self worth doubt along with never being loved. His story and transformation was by far my favorite in the series. It made my heart soar and swell with love and warmth. Ally character just intensified his being. Her spunk and visions made him open up a little more and try something outside the box. Allowed him to put in usr the characteristics in which Joe instilled in him and his brothers and sister. Perfect story to continue with the series. The growth and self love was the win for me. Shoot, I even learned a thing or two in the progress. This is a must read.Hardass Cop Turns Adorable

Ethan is darling as he pursues Ally, putting up with her "I'm staying single and going to force myself to love it," shenanigans. Definitely a hero who loves the chase, he falls deeper and deeper while trying to figure out a way around all the road blocks. Fun, witty, adorable. A good addition to the series.Passion filled Romance with a quirky twist!

They bring out the best in each other, loved every fun gathering with friends and family.
